🏗️Reaching New Heights: ATLAS Topping Out at Colorado State University🏗️

EPS Group was proud to attend the Colorado State University ATLAS Topping Out Celebration, marking a major milestone with the placement of the final structural beam.

The ATLAS (Advanced Technology Lasers for Applications and Science) facility represents a significant investment in the future of research, innovation, and collaboration—bringing together cutting-edge science, industry partnerships, and student opportunity in one transformative space.

Kyle George, Nick Haws, Jared Polis, Carmen S. Menoni, and Jorge Rocca were honored to be on site to support this project through our civil engineering and survey services, helping lay the groundwork for a facility that will have lasting impact both on campus and beyond.

Milestones like this are only possible through strong coordination and collaboration. Thank you to Colorado State University, CSU STRATA, CSU Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering, Tetrad Real Estate, Marvel Fusion, McCarthy Building Companies, SWBR, and the many teams involved in bringing ATLAS to life.

Congratulations to everyone on reaching this exciting moment—we’re proud to be part of what’s ahead for research and innovation here in Fort Collins.

EPS Group is proud to sponsor an important upcoming conversation on housing in Northern Colorado.

The NoCo Housing NOW: Metro Districts – Vital Community Tool or Hindrance to Housing Affordability?, hosted by the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce, will take place on April 17 at 10:30 AM and explore the role Metro Districts play in today’s development landscape.

Metro Districts are often a critical tool in making projects feasible—helping deliver infrastructure, managing costs, and ultimately bringing communities to life. At the same time, they remain central to the broader conversation around housing affordability and long-term community impact.

At EPS Group, we work alongside developers, municipalities, and stakeholders to navigate these complexities—from early feasibility and cost considerations through design and implementation. When structured thoughtfully, they can be a powerful part of moving projects forward.

We’re excited to support this discussion and encourage others to join and be part of the conversation.

EPS Group's Kyle George is attending Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity's "We Build Breakfast" tomorrow, April 1 (8:00–9:00 a.m. at Poudre High School)—and we’re glad to be part of it.

Affordable housing doesn’t solve itself—it takes people showing up. Events like this are a reminder of the real impact behind what we all do—helping build homes, communities, and opportunity across Northern Colorado.

At EPS Group, we’re committed to shaping the infrastructure and communities that make that kind of impact possible.

If you’re there, say hi. 🏘️

Our team enjoyed being part of the Poudre River Forum on Friday, where so many people came together to focus on the future of the Poudre River and the communities that depend on it. Nick Haws, Kyle George, and Brad Curtis represented EPS Group and had great conversations with partners from across Northern Colorado. Fittingly, the region even saw a little snow and moisture that day — a welcome reminder of how important every drop is in the West.

Sabrina Stoker, Executive Director of the Cache la Poudre River National Heritage Area, opened the forum by highlighting two ideas that resonated throughout the day:
🌟Trailblazer — someone willing to go first and challenge the status quo.
💡Innovator — someone who finds better ways to solve complex problems.

That mindset is exactly what it takes to support a healthy, working watershed. It will take continued collaboration between the City of Greeley, City of Fort Collins, Northern Water, Cache la Poudre River National Heritage Area, water districts, and regional partners to keep advancing solutions for the Poudre River system.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the EPS Group booth to talk about rivers, infrastructure, water systems, and surveying. We even had some fun with a “Guess the Water” game, challenging visitors to identify the difference between stormwater, wastewater, domestic water, and raw water. It’s always great connecting with partners who care about the long-term health of Northern Colorado’s communities and natural systems. Fitting that these conversations are happening as Colorado approaches its 150th year of statehood and the United States nears its 250th anniversary — a reminder that collaboration and innovation have always shaped solutions for the Poudre River.

What ideas or collaborations from this year's Poudre River Forum stood out to you?

Our team is in Los Angeles this week attending I.CON West, hosted by
NAIOP — one of the leading conferences focused on industrial real estate development. Representing EPS Group are Ox Auxier, Department Manager, Land Development; Scott Elliot, Director of Business Development; and Todd Leslie, Senior Project Manager, Land Development.

During the panel “What’s Next in the West: Industrial Market Outlook,” one insight captured the momentum we continue to see across the Southwest:

“Phoenix is not a secondary market. Huge opportunity for growth.”

The discussion — moderated by Melinda McLaughlin with panelists Laurel Casey, Amanda Eastwick, Rachel Hickenbottom, and Abbie Wertheim — highlighted the continued strength of industrial development across Western markets. As industrial investment accelerates, the demand for infrastructure, site development, utilities, and transportation systems continues to grow alongside it. We appreciate the opportunity to connect with industry leaders and partners shaping the future of industrial development across the region.
