We are currently hiring for a Part-Time or Full-Time Warehouse and Driver role at our Sabetha office. This role will include daily warehouse activities and functions as a member of the warehouse team. This job will also be responsible for efficient, timely, and accurate supply of products to customer accounts.
The primary job responsibilities will be:
-Receiving, picking, shipping, minor assembling, and delivering parts to our local customers
-Assist in cycle counts and annual inventory as requested
-Basic math skills
-Being comfortable learning new software programs
-Ability to work autonomously
-Attention to detail
-Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds (unassisted) as well as stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, and walk for long periods of time
-Contribute in a small team environment to help the success of Barr-Thorp Electric as a whole
This position will require excellent attendance and punctuality. Product knowledge is not required and previous experience is also not needed, but both will be considered in evaluating pay with compensation starting at $14/hr+. Hours will be between 20-35 hours a week with occasional needs for additional to cover other employee absences. Hours are flexible based on workload and employee preference, but all will fall within 8-5 M-F.
