We spent ours doing a little bit of everything — yard cleanup, gathering up sticks and brush for the fire, celebrating a kindergarten graduation 🎓, and soaking up some much-needed family time around the Chimnea. 🔥

We're pushing the limits of our chiminea's potential, testing its strength with a full load of yard waste, wood splitting bark, and larger firewood chunks, all fueled by natural draft. The results are promising, with minimal warping under extreme heat and a return to its original shape after cooling, demonstrating resilience and durability. As we refine our production process, we're gearing up to launch three chiminea sizes - 44 inches, 5 feet, and 6 feet - each designed to make a fiery statement in your yard. Meanwhile, our workshop has been humming with activity, painting a batch of around 30 firepits, all being made so much easier after revamping our layout in the shop in a big way! See our previous posts for a little insight to that.

You’re looking at a full burn… and not a face full of smoke. 🔥💨
This is what a properly built chiminea does, pulls hard, burns clean, and sends the smoke straight up where it belongs. No chair shuffling. No dodging clouds. Just heat, crackle, and a good night outside.
Real question though, how many of you have sat around a fire and spent half the night playing musical chairs with the smoke? 😂👇

Okay but… hear me out—
Birds get their own little hangout spot AND it actually looks good in your yard??

Golden hour just hits different when you’ve got a front row seat like this ✨

We’ve been playing around with some custom bird feeder hangers like this one.
Simple, functional, and adds a little character without trying too hard.

Within 24 hours there were flocks of House Finch’s, Dark-eyed Junco’s, and a couple Robins feasting away. Can’t wait to see what visits next!

Can you say the same about a store-bought firepit after 5 years of real use?
These pics were sent in by a good friend and customer who picked this up 6 years ago — back before we had our plasma table, when we were outsourcing blanks, hand-cutting basic designs, and welding on handles.
Fast forward to today… this thing still looks damn near new and has plenty of life left in it.
That’s the difference between something built to last and something built to sell.
And the kicker?
This was just a $225 basic 27” firepit.
No gimmicks. No shortcuts. Just solid work that holds up.
