SMALL ISSUES. BIG FAILURES.

That little vibration? That occasional alarm? That small coolant leak you've been meaning to check?

They might not seem like a big deal today, but small CNC problems have a way of turning into expensive repairs when they're ignored.

A worn bearing can lead to spindle damage. A failing lubrication system can cause premature wear on ball screws and guideways. A loose electrical connection can turn an intermittent fault into an unexpected shutdown.

And the longer you wait, the more expensive the problem can become.

At In-House CNC Service, we troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair CNC equipment before minor issues turn into major breakdowns.

Don't wait until your machine stops making parts to start paying attention.

Get ahead of the problem. Give us a call.

You program a position. The machine moves there. But the finished part tells a different story.

Dimensions aren't repeating. Circular features aren't coming out right. You're constantly adjusting offsets just to hold tolerance.

The problem might not be your program or tooling.

Backlash, ball screw wear, thrust bearing problems, loose couplings, and axis positioning errors can affect your machine's ability to repeat accurately.

Just because an axis moves doesn't mean it's moving correctly.

In-House CNC Service troubleshoots mechanical and positioning problems to help identify what's affecting your machine's accuracy.

Stop chasing dimensions. Find out what's causing them to move.

Your spindle runs fine during cutting. But when it's time for a tool change, things go wrong.

The spindle won't orient correctly. The tool changer hesitates. Or the machine throws an orientation alarm and stops the cycle.

Sound familiar?

Spindle orientation problems can involve encoder feedback, sensors, drive settings, mechanical alignment, or the spindle orientation mechanism itself.

A spindle that rotates properly isn't necessarily a spindle that's positioning properly.

At In-House CNC Service, we troubleshoot spindle orientation and tool-change issues to identify what's causing the problem and get your machine back into production.

Don't let a positioning problem turn into extended downtime.

WHEN SHOULD YOU SERVICE YOUR CNC MACHINE? BEFORE IT TELLS YOU TO. 🔧

Your CNC doesn't have to break down to need attention.

Unusual noises, recurring alarms, inconsistent dimensions, excessive vibration, coolant leaks, and rising operating temperatures are all signs that something may need attention.

But good machine maintenance shouldn't start when problems appear.

Here's what your shop should be watching:

✅ Daily: Check fluid levels, air pressure, leaks, and unusual noises. Keep chips and debris under control.

✅ Weekly: Inspect coolant condition, lubrication systems, filters, and visible signs of wear.

✅ Monthly: Check cooling fans, electrical cabinet filters, hoses, connections, and machine performance.

✅ Scheduled Maintenance: Follow manufacturer recommendations for lubrication, alignment, accuracy checks, and preventive service based on operating hours and machine conditions.

The most expensive service call is often the one you waited too long to make.

At In-House CNC Service, we help machine shops stay ahead of problems with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and professional CNC repairs.

Don't wait for a machine-down alarm to start thinking about service.

YOUR CNC DOESN'T KNOW IT'S THE WEEKEND. 😂

Friday afternoon. Last job of the week. You're already thinking about heading home.

Then the machine decides it's the perfect time to throw an alarm.

Sound familiar?

CNC machines don't care about your schedule. Worn components, lubrication problems, electrical faults, and mechanical issues can show up at the worst possible time.

The best way to avoid a Monday morning surprise? Pay attention to what your machine was telling you on Friday.

Unusual noises, recurring alarms, coolant leaks, or changes in machine performance shouldn't be waiting for a complete breakdown.

At In-House CNC Service, we troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC equipment to help keep your shop productive.

Enjoy your weekend. We'll help keep your machines ready for Monday.

BIG MACHINES. COMPLEX REPAIRS. REAL EXPERIENCE.

Not every CNC service job involves a quick adjustment or swapping out a faulty component.

Some jobs involve massive equipment, complex mechanical assemblies, multiple axes, hydraulic systems, electrical components, and the kind of troubleshooting that requires serious hands-on experience.

From large Cincinnati machining equipment to CNC lathes, machine components, and tool-changing systems, every machine presents its own challenges.

That's where experience makes the difference.

At In-House CNC Service, we work with industrial CNC equipment of all sizes, tackling mechanical and electrical problems, machine installations, troubleshooting, and repairs that keep production moving.

Whether you're dealing with a machine that's down, equipment that needs attention, or a major installation project, we're ready to get our hands dirty.

Big machine or small problem—getting it running right is what matters.

CLEAN SHOP. COOL MACHINES. BETTER RESULTS.

A clean machine shop isn't just about appearances. It's about protecting the equipment that keeps your business running.

Metal chips, coolant buildup, clogged filters, dust, and poor airflow can all contribute to overheating, premature component wear, electrical problems, and unexpected downtime.

And when you're running CNC equipment all day, those little things add up.

A few good habits can prevent some expensive problems:

✅ Keep chips and coolant buildup under control.

✅ Clean electrical cabinet filters and check cooling fans.

✅ Inspect lubrication and coolant systems regularly.

✅ Keep vents, work areas, and machine enclosures clean.

✅ Stay ahead of small maintenance issues before they become major repairs.

At In-House CNC Service, we know what neglected maintenance can do to a machine—and how much it can cost when production stops.

A cleaner shop is a good start. A properly maintained machine is what keeps you making parts.

YOUR PARTS ARE TALKING TO YOU.
Dimensions drifting? Finish getting worse? Seeing taper where you shouldn't?

Before blaming the program, tooling, or operator, take a look at the machine.
Machine level, geometry, backlash, spindle condition, ball screw wear, thermal growth, and positioning problems can all show up in the parts you're producing.

When you're constantly chasing dimensions with offsets, there may be a bigger problem behind it.
Stop adjusting around the problem.

We hear this one for a reason.
Moving a CNC isn't just about getting it from Point A to Point B. Once it's on the new floor, level, geometry, electrical, utilities, alignment, parameters, and startup all matter.

A machine can power up and run while still not being properly commissioned.

If you're relocating a CNC—or you just bought a used machine—In-House CNC Service can help get it set, leveled, checked, started up, and ready to make parts.

Moving the machine is only half the job. Getting it running right is the other half.

Tool change fails. You reset it. Try again. This time it works.
That doesn’t mean it’s fixed.

Intermittent ATC problems can come from alignment, sensors, switches, air pressure, spindle orientation, mechanical wear, or problems with the tool-change sequence itself.
If your carousel is hesitating, grabbing tools incorrectly, stopping mid-cycle, or throwing occasional ATC alarms, get it checked before an inconvenient problem becomes a machine-down problem.
