Their contribution ensures that we’ll have bicycles to raffle off for local kids, adding even more excitement to the day.

The Schimmer Automotive Group began with Schimmer Chevrolet in Mendota and expanded in the 1990s to include Schimmer Ford in Peru. In 2001, the group added Schimmer Hyundai in Peru, and in 2012 acquired R&R Ford in Mendota, now known as Mendota Ford.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at our annual Schimmer Automotive Christmas party last night! 🎄

We had a lively and festive evening celebrating the holiday season at Verucchi's Ristorante. We enjoyed wonderful food, delicious cocktails, yummy cookies, played a few fun Christmas games, and handed out some exciting prizes! I guess you could say that Santa treated all of the winners well this year 🎅🏻🎁

This season is all about gratitude and preparation. We're thankful for all we learned in 2025, and for the amazing community that continues to support us year after year. And we're looking ahead to 2026 with a sense of enthusiasm, positivity, and anticipation for what's next.
