Happy Back-to-School Season! 🚌📚🏢

Allen & Hoshall is proud to support K-12 education projects across the Mid-South, including numerous improvements for Jackson Public Schools. Our recent work includes renovations and HVAC upgrades at Brinkley Middle School (formerly known as Powell Middle School), which celebrated the completion of its improvements with a ribbon-cutting in late July.

We’re proud to help create comfortable, efficient learning environments for students, teachers, and staff.

Allen & Hoshall is proud to celebrate Mike Young, PE, President Emeritus, on his induction into The University of Tennessee Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering Hall of Fame.

Mike was recognized for his distinguished engineering career, professional leadership, and longstanding commitment to engineering education and mentorship. Since joining Allen & Hoshall in 1972, Mike has helped shape impactful projects across the United States and internationally while serving as a leader and mentor to generations of engineers.

Pictured with Mike is Chris D. Cox, PhD, PE, Department Head and Robert M. Condra Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at The University of Tennessee.

We're honored to be part of several Mid-South projects recognized in this year's Building Memphis Awards by the Memphis Business Journal. We look forward to celebrating with our fellow nominees at this Tuesday's ceremony.

Allen & Hoshall served as the project manager and provided architectural and engineering design services for Hernando High School and Northwest Mississippi Community College's Ranger Center, both nominated in the new construction categories.

Our engineers also provided surveying and civil design services for Founders Park at the iconic National Civil Rights Museum.

Allen & Hoshall is proud to support DeSoto County with the architectural and engineering design of a new multi-purpose Safe Room.

Recently approved, this FEMA- and MEMA-funded facility will serve as a high-tech tornado shelter while also providing flexible space for community use.

As we wrap up 2025, we’re reflecting on a milestone year for Allen & Hoshall.

We recently gathered at the Memphis Botanic Garden to celebrate 110 years of service, collaboration, and trust. While the celebration lasted one evening, the relationships behind it span generations.
