Great event for a great cause last night with friends at Smoking River Brewing Co!

To say I am pleased that the fire pit I donated for the live auction raised nearly $1000 would be an understatement!

Got the sign installed after the rain this afternoon.

Billy’s wife, Tasha, really liked the color of the primer so we’re leaving it primed. Nice contrast with the trees in the background.

I still don’t have the new laser CNC table set up and probably won’t until after I build a new & bigger shop next spring.

Hauled the plasma table home from storage, good thing I haven’t sold it yet, and cut this sign today.

We’re going to set it in the ground tomorrow afternoon and get some black paint on it after it’s installed.

Beat the rain and wrapped up a fire pit for my high school wrestling coach and his wife in Broomfield, CO.

They are in the city and have a lot of trees in the yard so built the “top hat” with four 14” x 5 1/2” screened openings. Hopefully this will minimize the embers from a fire.

Leaving it raw steel and going to let it rust. Having some friends over this evening and going to have a little “test fire”!

Fabrication complete on the latest outdoor stair rail project.

Brought it home this afternoon, ground all the welds and started priming. Install planned for Thursday.

Modified four saddle racks (did one a couple weeks ago to test fit) for a horse trailer. Lengthened them all by 6 inches.

Another “package” box almost complete.

This one will be bear proof. Will weld a hasp on it and some chains on the inside to hold the lid open and it will be done tomorrow.
