Ben brings almost 30 years of experience in the foodservice industry, including more than three years of dedicated leadership at Arctic. Throughout his tenure, he's played an important role in strengthening customer relationships, driving operational performance, and fostering collaboration across teams.

As President & Chief of Staff, Ben will direct enterprise-wide strategic ex*****on, continue guiding cross-functional initiatives, and bring a fresh perspective to our manufacturing and operational teams. We welcomed Pappas Restaurants, Inc., Prologic Food Equipment Group, CR Peterson + Associates, and Tri-State Marketing Associates for a factory tour and training this week. There’s nothing better than walking the floor together, sharing how our equipment is built, and getting hands-on experience with the product. We recently worked with Glenn Relethford and the talented team at Orness Design Group Inc. on the renovation of Goody's Marketplace at UC San Diego 🌊

The 6,500 sq. foot market and restaurant space is organized to maximize visibility, accessibility, and operational efficiency. Large walk-in coolers and freezers provide both customer-facing glass-door access and back-of-house loading for seamless restocking.

Part of the Ridgewalk neighborhood, the reimagined Goody's is a vibrant, student-centered hub that integrates dining, convenience, and community.

🎉 We’re thrilled to announce two well-deserved promotions within our Account Management team! Janet De Leon has been promoted to Inside Sales Manager, and Juan Sabogal to Account Manager III.

Janet has been part of Arctic since 2005 and brings over 30 years of sales experience. She’s known for her exceptional customer relationships, understanding of market dynamics, and people-centered leadership approach. In her new role, Janet will lead the Account Management team and continue driving excellence across our sales organization.

Since joining Arctic in 2023, Juan has made a significant impact through his dedication to customer relationships and his contributions to key operational projects. A consummate learner, Juan is completing his Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering and will soon pursue a Master’s in Engineering Management.

👉 Ben Casey has been promoted to Senior Vice President after three years leading our sales organization. In his new role, Ben will oversee business development and manage strategic supplier and vendor relationships while continuing to guide initiatives that make Arctic a trusted, customer-first brand.

👉 Rio Giardinieri returns to Arctic as Senior Vice President of Sales. Rio previously led sales for the brand and brings more than 30 years of industry experience, including deep expertise in the cold storage sector. Based in Miami, Rio will be traveling across the country to connect with our partners, dealers, and end-users, ensuring Arctic is building strong, lasting relationships in the field.

👉 Mo Ghalayini joins as Vice President of Finance, bringing more than 25 years of international experience across transformation, M&A, tax, and growth leadership. His financial expertise will help guide Arctic as we invest in innovation and build for the long term.

These appointments mark an exciting new chapter for Arctic Walk-Ins. With this leadership team in place, we are doubling down on our commitment to quality, reliability, and innovation, while also empowering our partners with the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed.
