🚨 Straight talk, folks! We've had four inquiries this month: YES, you can run red diesel on the road right now! This dyed off-road fuel is simply 15 ppm ULSD with a dye added. 🌟 It’s safe for your truck!
But beware! What's harmful is the other option: the EPA is allowing diesel with 500 ppm sulfur in Texas until Oct. 24, and a whopping 5,000 ppm in Alaska! 🚫⚠️ Their own guidelines state that no vehicle equipped with a DPF or catalytic aftertreatment (that's every truck from 2007 onward!) should touch it. Sulfur doesn’t just burn off; it damages your filter and your warranty with Cummins will be denied!
See a sulfur warning sticker on the pump? Steer clear! Unsure about your truck’s certification? Swing by, and we’ll help you read that emissions label—totally free!
