Good instrumentation should make your job easier, not give you another thing to worry about.

In industrial applications, a measurement is only useful if you can rely on it.

That means choosing instrumentation with the entire application in mind—from process conditions and installation requirements to how the data will actually be used once the system is running.

Flow. Level. Monitoring.

Different applications require different solutions, but the goal stays the same: reliable process information when you need it.

That’s what process measurement should do.

Explore FLO-CORP solutions for flow, level, and process monitoring.

Missed our latest newsletter?

We recently introduced the UltraFlo™ Series, our new line of clamp-on ultrasonic flow meters designed to measure liquid flow without cutting into the pipe.

We’ve now taken a closer look at the technology on the FLO-CORP PULSE blog—including how transit-time ultrasonic measurement works, the benefits of clamp-on measurement, and the differences between the UltraFlo™ UFT3 and UFS3.

You can’t always be standing next to the process. Your data should still be accessible.

Remote monitoring gives operators visibility into critical process measurements without requiring someone to physically check instrumentation at the site.

With FLO-CORP monitoring solutions, process data can be used to help teams:

→ Monitor critical measurements remotely

→ Identify changing conditions sooner

→ Reduce routine manual checks

→ Maintain visibility across multiple locations

From a single tank to multiple remote assets, better access to process data can make day-to-day monitoring a whole lot simpler.

One of the biggest advantages of ultrasonic flow measurement? The meter doesn’t have to be in the flow.

Clamp-on ultrasonic technology measures liquid flow from outside the pipe, allowing measurement without cutting into the process line.

That means:
• No pressure loss
• No moving parts in the flow stream
• No contact with the process liquid
• Easier installation and maintenance

FLO-CORP’s newly launched UltraFlo™ Series brings that approach to applications ranging from small piping systems to large industrial lines.

Meet the new UltraFlo™ Series.

Flow measurement without cutting into the pipe.

The new UltraFlo™ UFT3 and UFS3 use clamp-on ultrasonic technology to measure liquid flow from outside the pipe—meaning no wetted sensor components, virtually no added pressure drop, and less disruption during installation.

Two models. One non-invasive approach to flow measurement.

→ UFT3: Fixed or portable configurations

→ UFS3: Compact solution for small-pipe applications

NEW FLO-CORP PULSE Technical White Paper

Selecting a flow meter isn’t about finding the “best” technology. It’s about understanding the tradeoffs and finding the technology that best fits the application.

Our latest technical white paper, Selecting the Right Flow Meter Technology for Your Application, takes a closer look at four widely used flow measurement technologies:

• Positive Displacement
• Differential Pressure
• Electromagnetic
• Coriolis Mass Flow

The guide compares how each technology works, where it performs best, and key considerations including accuracy, maintenance, pressure loss, and process conditions.

We’ve also included a practical selection guide to help narrow down the right technology based on what you’re measuring and what the application requires.

Not every process problem starts with the process.

Sometimes it starts with the instrumentation.

Accurate measurement is the foundation of efficient operations. Whether you're monitoring flow, level, pressure, or temperature, reliable data helps operators make confident decisions, reduce downtime, and improve product quality.

At FLO-CORP, we work with engineers across a wide range of industries to provide measurement solutions that keep critical processes running smoothly.

Reliable processes begin with reliable measurement.

Every process is different.

Some facilities measure clean water.

Others monitor chemicals, fuels, oils, syrups, slurries, or corrosive liquids.

Each application presents its own challenges—from viscosity and conductivity to pressure, temperature, and required accuracy.

That's why selecting the right flow measurement technology is about more than pipe size. It's about understanding the process first.

At FLO-CORP, helping customers identify the right solution starts with understanding the application.

Did You Know?

Flow rate isn't always measured the same way.

Some flow meters measure volumetric flow (such as gallons per minute), while others measure mass flow (such as pounds per hour).

The right measurement depends on the application. Changes in temperature, pressure, or fluid density can affect volumetric measurements, while mass flow provides a direct measurement of the amount of material moving through the process.

Understanding the difference is one of the first steps in selecting the right flow measurement technology for your application.
