A long overdue apology.

I am sorry, for all of the patrons and followers who have placed their faith in my work and have been let down.

I have no other excuse, excepting that I have overpromised and underdelivered. As such, I do not expect any to keep me high on their list of makers.

But I do ask that you do keep your faith in me, just a little while longer. Shrike's Forge will not be cutting losses or closing doors.
So for those willing to stick it out with me while I earn back some of your trust, our agreements stand.

For those that feel a need to cut ties, please email me at [email protected] so that we can find a suitable resolution.

As such, here is what to expect in the coming months as I work to regain some of your trust.

-Commissions will be closed for the time being, until a time in which they have been cleared and accounted for. (provisions for a wait list will be made)

- Production pieces will be made for sale at my own discretion, and will be available as they are completed. (these are builds meant mainly to bring a standard of quality while working through this difficult time)

- Most updates on work will not begin until fall or winter of this year, while some personal matters are attended to. (if this wait is too long, please email me so that other arrangements can be made)

I sincerely hope that this eases some tension in some way, and will be happy to address comments and concerns at this time.

The patience of you all astounds me.

The hand and half type xii no.1 is almost done! Some tweaks for producion and an all new disc pommel make this a nimble and versatile sparring blade. 36 inch blade on a 7 inch handle.

9 inch long blade spear point blade with copper fittings and charred ash handle. This will have a leather sheath with it too.
