The Landfill will be closed today, Thursday, June 4th, due to that little cloud that just came over that did nothing here in town but dropped 1/2" of rain at the landfill and the pits are too muddy to open.
Also, the landfill will not be open Saturday, June 6th, due to not having enough personnel to run it.

Due to lack of employees the land fill will be closed today Thursday 5-21-2026. Also it will be closed Saturday 5-23-2026 for the holiday weekend. We will resume normal operation on Tuesday 5-26-2026. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Even though its windy we are going to open the landfill. If someone has a load that has trash that will blow away the load may not be accepted. We are doing this because rain may close the landfill on Thursday and it will be closed on Saturday 5-23-2026 for the holiday. Limbs will still be accepted today.
