We talk every day about protecting workers from falls.

But there’s another statistic in construction that deserves just as much attention.

More than 5,000 construction workers die by su***de each year.

That number should stop all of us.

Construction is filled with people who know how to work hard, push through, show up and get the job done. But strength shouldn’t mean carrying everything alone.

This is a complicated issue with no single cause and no simple solution.

A workplace can’t solve everything a person may be carrying. But we do believe the environment people work in matters.

Feeling safer matters.

Feeling protected matters.

Feeling like your employer has invested in you, values you and cares whether you go home safely matters.

Reducing unnecessary stress and creating a workplace where people know their well-being is taken seriously matters.

OSHA’s Top 10 most frequently cited standards are out — and we’re counting them down.

Some moved. Some stayed put.

But when we get to #1… there probably won’t be many surprises.

For the 16th consecutive year, Fall Protection – General Requirements is OSHA’s most frequently cited standard.

Sixteen years.

That’s the part worth talking about.

In those 16 years, fall protection has continued to evolve. We have better engineering, more advanced technology, major design breakthroughs, stronger training resources and solutions that can make protection easier to implement in the field.

And yet fall protection continues to sit at the top of OSHA’s list year after year.

At some point, the conversation has to move beyond simply telling companies that fall protection matters.

We have to keep looking at what actually helps businesses take that knowledge and turn it into consistent protection for the people doing the work.

So after 16 years at No. 1, what do you think the industry needs to do differently? I want to hear your thoughts.

Today, we remember.

We remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001.
We remember the families whose lives were changed forever.

We remember the first responders who ran toward danger, the ordinary Americans who showed extraordinary courage, and the countless acts of sacrifice, compassion, bravery, and service that followed.

Twenty-five years later, the weight of that day still humbles us.

9/11 reminds us how quickly life can change, how deeply we are connected to one another, and how much strength can be found when people come together with courage, kindness, and purpose.

As an American company, we are deeply grateful for the freedoms we have, for those who serve and protect them, and for the people who continue to show up for one another in moments of unimaginable difficulty without hesitation.

May we honor those we lost not only by remembering how that day changed us, but by carrying forward the unity, resolve, compassion, and hope that emerged in its aftermath.

We remember.
We honor.
And we move forward with gratitude and hope for the generations that follow.
