It is with profound sadness that G.M. Shearer Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC and Shearer Custom Speed & Accessories, LLC share that founding owner and operator, George M. Shearer, has passed on to his heavenly home on Wednesday, December 11, 2019.

George began his Plumbing and HVAC business in McConnellsburg, PA in 1974 and became a well-respected business man working for many individuals and contractors in the local area contributing to new homes and installations all over Fulton, Franklin and Huntingdon Counties. Eventually as his sons grew, Jeff and Tom joined him in the business and continue on handling the day to day management. Because of his love of racing, in 2005, George added Shearer Custom Speed & Accessories next door to his Plumbing building with his son in law Marvin Winters continuing the day to day management of it.

George will be greatly missed by his family, friends, employees and business associates and will be remembered fondly as a hardworking, dependable, kind, caring and compassionate family man.

Arrangements for Visitation and Funeral services are being handled by Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc. in McConnellsburg, PA and will be finalized later today.

We are saddened to announce to you all of death of Roger Brown who passed away on, Thursday, May 17, 2012 suddenly. I know you will join me in offering his family and friends our sincerest condolences during this sad time. We will all miss him as a work colleague and friend after his many years of loyal service to this company.

Just to let everyone know Roger is still the same, they are expecting to bring him out of the coma tomorrrow. He is in the Washington Hospital Center in DC. Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers. Stacey

Asking for you prayers for Roger, he is in the hopital, he had a massive heartattack last night and is in an induced coma for the next 48 hours. They are worried about his brain right now. I will do my best to keep you informed.
