Big thanks to the Park Record for featuring ACRE in their Fall Home issue. 🌾

The story follows Sterlingwood Condominiums, a ski-in, ski-out community in upper Deer Valley built back in the 1980s. After more than 40 years, the original cedar siding was ready to retire. Instead of replacing it with more of the same, Fine Construction reclad the buildings in ACRE, our tree-free siding made from upcycled rice hulls, as part of a year-long exterior renovation that also included new roofing, added insulation, waterproofing, and rebuilt decks.

The team weighed several materials first, premium aluminum included. Operations Manager David Fine on why ACRE won: "It checked all the boxes."

It still looks like real wood against the mountains. It just does not ask for a refinishing every few years to keep it that way.

Building back stronger in 📍Altadena, CA.

After the 2025 wildfires, this family chose to rebuild with ACRE. Knight Builders is wrapping the entire residence in 1x6 ACRE Nickel Gap siding, finished in Amory.

Big news for builders in the Southeast. Palmer-Donavin is now carrying Modern Mill's ACRE across Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Red Book Lumber Data covered the news, including a great line from Palmer-Donavin's VP of Product Management, Josh Thompson: "ACRE sits between wood and PVC and offers our dealers a product unlike any other." ACRE is made from upcycled rice hulls. It cuts, nails, and screws like wood, takes paint or stain without primer, and stands up to rot, moisture, and pests without splintering.

Palmer-Donavin is expanding its specialty exterior product offering in the Southeast with the addition of ACRE Siding and building products by Modern Mill.
