We’re excited to continue our journey as part of Midera. Here’s to new opportunities, continued growth, and the momentum ahead!

It was announced today that Middleby Food Processing has a new name: Midera.

Midera will soon be a standalone company, separating from Middleby in July. The company’s new brand identity highlights the company’s heritage as part of Middleby as it enters a new era as a company entirely focused on food processing. The Midera emblem draws from triangular elements of the original Middleby visual identity, refined to convey precision and forward momentum.

“Over decades we built a global reputation as an industry leader delivering exceptional quality and innovative total line solutions as Middleby Food Processing. Today we are proud to start a new chapter as Midera, a name that will continue to reflect the deep commitment of our brands. We are excited about our future as a standalone company and now launching our identity as Midera,” said Mark Salman, Midera incoming Chief Executive Officer and current president of the Middleby Food Processing Group.

This , we’re celebrating the twist that brings it all together- and there’s no better place to do it than at !

What started in 1961 as a challenge to adapt a farming invention into a bread bag closure became a breakthrough in packaging design. In just 30 days, Earl and Charles Burford created the first prototype, and soon after developed the original tying system that helped consumers keep products fresh and secure.

65 years later, Tyers continue to deliver.

As Day 1 of Interpack gets underway, Burford Corp. is proud to be part of one of the world’s premier trade shows for packaging materials, packaging machinery, and process technology.

Mitch Lindsey and Luke Honour are representing the team well, showcasing our packaging solutions and demonstrating how Burford brings packaging full circle with reliable closure technology.

Even a day late, we still showed up for what matters 🌎💚

Our team spent time along our adopted highway picking up trash and doing our part to keep our community clean. Earth Day may have been yesterday, but making a difference doesn’t have to fit into just one date! Small actions add up- and we’re proud to do our part right here at home.

Our Easter event was such a great example of what makes this community special- people coming together to create something fun and meaningful for our families.

We want to give a huge thank you to the Maysville Ministerial Alliance. Without the support of each church involved, this event simply wouldn’t have been possible.

We’d also like to thank our amazing sponsors- First United Bank, Rassy's Diner, Winan's Funeral Home, and Papa’s Trading Co. for helping make it happen.

And a big shoutout to the Maysville Fire Department for hiding all of the eggs and bringing out their trucks, and to our Maysville Police Department for joining us with the touch-a-truck experience. We appreciate everything you do for our community!

This recognition highlights individuals who go above and beyond in driving impact and support across the organization. Congratulations Megan!

Congratulations to our latest Middleby MVP, Megan Sutton!

Megan is the HR Manager at Burford and was nominated in recognition of her consistent commitment to employees, workplace culture, and community impact. While Megan excels in her core HR responsibilities, what truly sets her apart is how often she steps up beyond her role to take on challenges that strengthen Burford and support the people who work at the company. She has led meaningful outreach efforts in the Maysville, OK area, including coordinating support for the Angel Tree program to help ensure local children are provided for at Christmas. She also coordinates many fundraising events and routinely finds ways to strengthen the community through the goodwill of Burford employees. Megan's initiative, compassion, and follow-through make a measurable difference for the Burford employees and community. She is a valued not only Burford, but inspires all of us at Middleby. Congrats Megan!
