There’s a little more to the story behind Appalachian Metal Works than just welding and fabrication.
Before AMW ever began, Hank was welding on the pipeline. After getting hurt and finding himself unable to continue down the path we thought we were on, we weren’t exactly sure what was next.
Looking back now, it’s pretty incredible to see how God was already working.
What started during a season of uncertainty turned into an opportunity that we truly feel God laid right in our laps. One door opened, then another, and little by little Appalachian Metal Works began to take shape.
Hank took the skills and experience he already had and started building — one project, one customer, and one opportunity at a time.
Since then, we’ve been blessed to watch this little business grow into more than we could have imagined. From handrails and staircases to signs, equipment parts, and some pretty unique custom projects, no two days look quite the same around here.
There have been plenty of long days, lessons learned, and challenges along the way, but through it all, God has continued to guide us and provide.
So when you see Hank behind the welding hood, you’re seeing more than the person building your project. You’re seeing the reason Appalachian Metal Works exists in the first place.
We’re incredibly thankful for every customer who has trusted us, every person who has recommended us, and everyone who follows along and supports our small business.
God opened the door, we walked through it, and the rest is history. ❤️
Here’s to seeing where He leads us next.
