Last fall, our Leesport facility provided an out-of-this-world experience for some up-and-coming young directors to create their latest film project – all to promote manufacturing. Our team had a lot of fun partnering with students from Hamburg Area Middle School for the 2025 What's So Cool About Manufacturing (WSCM) video contest.

The contest has concluded, and we were proud to be at the awards ceremony with a display, celebrating the creativity and hard work of all participants. The WSCM program, now in its 12th year, continues to inspire students to explore careers in manufacturing by connecting them with local manufacturers and highlighting the innovative opportunities in the industry. A team from our Elmore, Ohio facility recently brought STEM to life for Toledo high school students during two engaging workshops.

Andrew Ruzek, Todd Osborn, Aisling Coughlan, and Greg Heldt led interactive sessions on chemistry, material science, bioengineering, and industrial health. The team inspired curiosity, critical thinking, and collaboration by connecting classroom concepts to real-world applications. These hands-on workshops encouraged students to envision their future as scientists, engineers, and innovators.

A new chapter in space exploration has begun. NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s Europa Clipper mission launched yesterday, and we are proud to be part of this groundbreaking journey to explore Jupiter’s mysterious, ice-covered moon, Europa. Beneath its frozen surface lies a vast ocean, holding more liquid water than all of Earth’s oceans combined. 🌊

In partnership with Arizona State University’s School of Earth and Space Exploration, our Westford, Massachusetts optics team pushed the boundaries of innovation. Using advanced photolithography and metallization, we’ve created solderable seal rings on custom diamond substrates. These unique diamond windows, with their precise microstructures, are pivotal to the Europa Thermal Emission Imaging System (E-THEMIS), capturing high-resolution, multi-spectral images to study water plumes erupting into space.

From Project Mercury to the James Webb Space Telescope, our legacy in space exploration continues with the Europa Clipper mission, a testament to our relentless pursuit of innovation. 💫

Safety demonstrations, vendors, Employee Resource Groups and an impressive 50% participation rate in the employee engagement survey -- the inaugural Elmore Expo was a success.

This employee event took place at our Elmore, Ohio facility and featured a day packed full of employee resources and education.

In this highlight reel, we see an example of a safety demonstration in which a forklift collides with a golf cart. The demo illustrated the importance of safety in mobility, a focus area this year.

In celebration of Arbor Day in the Philippines, 15 of our Subic Bay employees planted bamboo seedlings at the Laywa Reforestation Site in Subic Bay Freeport Zone. This event boosted environmental awareness and fostered community engagement through volunteerism, in collaboration with the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority.

This initiative is one of many ways we support sustainability and our communities. A big thank you to our Subic Bay team for their dedication.
