In 2020, Chris Susott acquired the company with an ambition to build upon the IAE platform by growing both the core automotive channel and placing an acute focus on opportunities within the heavy-duty segment. IAE partners with many suppliers and enjoys particularly strong support from Challenger, Hunter, and Samson on the light-duty side and Stertil-Koni on the heavy-duty side. IAE is the exclusive distributor for all Stertil-Koni products in Indiana and Kentucky. IAE is one of the nation’s only equipment companies that is capable of completing all aspects of complex installations with in-house resources. This includes all excavation, pit forming, finish concrete work, setting, pipe, hose and reel fitting, etc. IAE believes that the quality of its installations is second to none. Performing all work in-house, with no need for sub-contracting, provides the best control for ensuring overall customer satisfaction. Since the recent acquisition, Mr. Susott has made several significant investments in work-flow automation and CRM systems, equipment, and talent. The Company employs approximately 30 of the highest-skilled employees in the industry. As much as growth is valued, Mr. Susott maintains a non-compromising approach toward customer service. We are proud to share that SLE Technologies, Inc. has been featured once again in the Indianapolis Business Journal! The latest article highlights our recent milestone of securing a major multistate distributorship agreement with Accudraft Paint Booths, a leader in high-performance paint booths and finishing systems.

Under this new partnership, SLE serves as the exclusive Accudraft Paint Booths distributor authorized to sell, install, and service their industry-leading products across Indiana, western Ohio, and northern Kentucky, while also acting as a trusted partner for regional projects in Illinois, Missouri, and Wisconsin.

Together with our existing status as a premier Car-O-Liner distributor, adding Accudraft Paint Booths gives us an incredibly strong, comprehensive platform in the collision and paint repair market, in addition to our automotive and heavy-duty equipment, installation, inspection, and service solutions.

To handle this influx of new business, we are actively expanding our regional workforce and plan to add 10 to 20 new employees over the next 12 months! Thank you to our team, our partners, and the IBJ for capturing our momentum as we continue to professionalize the vehicle equipment industry.

Reaffirming its commitment to factory-certified expertise, the leadership, sales, and technical service teams at SLE Technologies, Inc. recently completed comprehensive training at the Car-O-Liner Academy, located at the Snap-on facility in Conway, Arkansas.

This complete program ensured our sales and service teams are fully aligned to support the entire equipment lifecycle. The hands-on training focused on mastering CAR-O-LINER core repair systems. Our team practiced vehicle measuring using the Car-O-Tronic® system and Vision2™ Software, frame straightening on the BenchRack™ alignment bench, and factory-standard welding with the CTR 9® Fully-Automatic Resistance Spot Welder.

A huge thank you to the incredible team at Snap-on Tools for their world-class hospitality and partnership during this intensive program. Because of this training, the entire SLE team is fully equipped to deliver premier consultative sales, certified installations, and factory-level support from day one through the life of the equipment.

Last Friday, SLE Technologies, Inc. was honored to take the stage at The American Institute of Architects (AIA Indiana) annual event, held at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Our President, Jason Anderson, and CEO, Chris Susott, joined forces with our partners at Patterson Horth, Inc. to lead a critical conversation on future-proofing service center design. As the industry shifts, we are increasingly focused on how architectural design must adapt to support specialized operations across collision repair, as well as both light and heavy-duty equipment facilities.

Together, we explored the technical requirements that are redefining these spaces:

⚡ EV Adoption: Infrastructure requirements for the electric transition.
🛠️ ADAS Calibration: Integrating specialized space for advanced safety systems.
📈 Workflow Efficiency: Optimizing vehicle throughput for a more sophisticated operator landscape.
