Missed Carel’s presentation at the 2026 EICF? We’ve got you covered.

You can now request our paper, “A New Approach to Evaluate Green Shell Strength Properties to Better Understand Shell Cracking,” directly from our website.

Shell cracking remains one of the most common defects in ceramic shell processing, especially during dewaxing. This paper introduces a new method for evaluating shell strength by measuring a shell’s ability to withstand internal pressure before fracture — offering a more representative way to benchmark shell systems and construction combinations.

A jaguar tooth isn’t your everyday print job — but our 3D Model Standard resin was more than ready.

“Using R&R’s 3D Model Standard resin, we’ve been able to produce highly accurate models of a jaguar residing at the Lufkin Texas Zoo. Even with challenging scan data and limited attachment options, printing and post-processing have gone smoothly every time. The finished models deliver a clean surface, excellent detail, and strong overall consistency.

The final product is very strong and rigid and we’ve been extremely pleased with the performance and reliability of the resin.”

- Bobby Clark, Co-Lab Owner, Clark Dental Lab LLC

We love seeing our materials help bring meaningful projects to life.

🌟 May Milestone at R&R — A Month of Momentum and Major Wins

May was a month of incredible momentum for R&R, highlighted by a major achievement that reflects how far we’ve come as a company.

This month, our team successfully executed five tradeshows in just two weeks. For perspective: in 2018, R&R participated in four shows per year. Today, we’re completing five shows across two continents in half a month, representing all of our end markets — industrial, jewelry, and dental — with two shows in Europe and three in the U.S.

A tradeshow is never “just a show.” Each one requires extensive planning, coordination, logistics, and on‑the‑ground ex*****on. We extend our appreciation to everyone who contributed to making this milestone possible, with special recognition to Izzy and Allie for their exceptional work behind the scenes.

We also want to thank all team members who staffed these shows, supported earlier events this year, or are preparing for upcoming ones. Your dedication and teamwork continue to move R&R forward.

And the momentum didn’t stop there. May also brought several other major achievements — including the launch of our new P2C™ Jewelry system, a successful company‑wide event, and a productive trip to Asia focused on strengthening global connections.

We’re also excited to highlight another key update: Talladium Gypsum & Investment Products are now part of Ransom & Randolph. R&R has acquired Talladium’s gypsum and investment product lines, bringing trusted materials, technical support, and customer service under the R&R name.

Here’s to continued growth, teamwork, and the exciting momentum ahead.

After more than three decades of dedication to Ransom & Randolph, we’re celebrating a very special team member as she steps into retirement once again.

Valorie Walters, Billing Specialist, first joined R&R in 1991 and spent 21 years supporting our operations before retiring. In 2017, she returned part‑time and quickly became an essential resource across multiple areas — from Accounting to Plant Coordination to EH&S. Wherever help was needed, Val was there.

With over 30 years of combined service, Val’s commitment, flexibility, and steady support have made a lasting impact on both our team and our customers. Her contributions have shaped R&R in meaningful ways, and we’re grateful for everything she’s brought to the organization.

Congratulations, Val — enjoy retirement (again). You’ve truly earned it.
