General Function: Perform quality audits in accordance with written instructions to include customer requirements.

Job Duties:
Perform quality process audits of all production jobs running. This is in accordance with written instructions as per customers’ requirements.
Rejecting, containing and tagging nonconforming product.
Training employees on Process Check Sheets, document and verify training.
Assure that routing/move tags are placed on all containers of product and completed correctly.
Assist production with problem solving on quality issues.
Assure that traceability system is maintained per procedures.
Perform final audits and attach OK to Ship Tags.
Monitoring the rust inhibitor in the washers and recording titration per procedure.
Required to help in achieving production standards.
Safety conscious to include proper use of P.P.E.
All other duties as assigned by management
Working Conditions: Plant environment, using correct gauge instruments as required per job(s) running. Document all findings at time of quality checks.

Physical Component(s): Standing and walking 7.7 hours, capable of lifting up to 40 lbs to include; pushing, pulling, bending, some stooping and reaching.

Education/Experience: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English. Mathematically inclined, basic use of gauges and measurement tools. Basic computer skills. Understanding of QMS and TS-16949. First shift internal training may be required.

Job Title: Press Operator
Location: Mason, Ohio

General Function: Operating various metal stamping presses safely in order to make quality products.

Job Duties:
Safely operate metal stamping presses by manually feeding steel blanks on the die for forming, placing part on the die to trim, place the part on die for piercing(s).
Filling out press cards as required.
Completing tags, check-sheets and reports timely and accurately.
Responsible to keep the area clean and participate in plant clean-up.
Work in a team environment, work with other employees.
Follow company policies, company safety policies and practice safe work habits.
Other duties as assigned.

Physical Component(s): Standing up to 8 hours at a time. Lifting, pushing and pulling up to 40 pounds on a continuous basis. Some bending and walking in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements:

General Function: Safety conscious tow motor driver to supply production with material, packaging and equipment as necessary. Move material as required in and out of plant.

Job Duties:
Check and complete daily safety checks on tow motor.
Safely drive tow motor following safety rules and guidelines.
Move inventory/material to & from presses and to inventory – accurately.
Assure material and parts are in proper locations, stacking safely & properly.
Working directly with production.
Empty scrap tubs.
Package press line 85 material using the wrapper.
Complete Material Tracking Sheets; complete and maintain any and all paperwork required.
Organization of skid areas – in and outside of plant; to include housekeeping.
Required to help in achieving production standards.
Safety conscious to include proper use of P.P.E.
All other duties as assigned by team leaders and management

Working Conditions: Environment includes the plant, dock, in and out of trailers and outside of plant.

Physical Component(s): Driving tow motor throughout working day, sitting, standing, walking, capable of lifting up to 40 lbs. to include; pushing, pulling, bending, reaching and some stooping.

Education/Experience: Capable of driving a tow motor (obtaining a Deerfield license). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English. Must be very organized, self motivated as well as taking directives.

General Function: Responsible for the maintenance of all production presses and equipment.

Job Duties:
Troubleshooting electrical systems using ladder logic, electrical prints, and schematics, knowledge of 3-phase electricity
Proficient in programming PLCs (500, 504, 505, 1000, 1500)
Working knowledge of robot and robot controls; Fanuc, ABB, OTC & Miller
Capable of working with and troubleshooting machines controlled by relay logic
Capable of troubleshooting motor drives
Diagnoses problems and failures and repairs various equipment (Presses, machines, etc.)
Performs routine and preventive maintenance to ensure the ongoing functioning of required tools and equipment.
Maintains tools and equipment to ensure equipment availability in safe operating conditions.
Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic press systems and programmable controls
Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics for troubleshooting and repair.
Coordinates with administration and other trades to complete projects/work orders efficiently
Working Conditions: Plant environment; working in and out of presses, standing and walking up to 100% of work time; pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and stooping.

Education/Experience:
Industrial Maintenance Electrician with an Associates Degree in a related technical field or a
Minimum of 8 years of hands-on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatics experience in a metal stamping manufacturing environment.
Prefer applicants with a journeyman’s card.

Other Requirements:
Must be self-motivated
Strong background in Electrical Controls, Electrical Blueprints, Electric Motors & Controls Troubleshooting, and Mechanical Repair
Must be available for overtime as needed to maintain production.

Reports To: Production Supervisor

General Function: Removal and set up of stamping dies in a safe and timely manner.

Job Duties:
Adjusting dies to obtain an acceptable product through quality control.
Write tool repair tags and communicate with die storage for tool and die transit to die shop.
Communicate all issues with machines, tools, and set-ups working towards continuous improvement.
Set all safety devices and provide a thorough check of each safety device before turning the press over to production.
Informing each press operator on their particular die/dies, instruct them on safe operation.
Complete all parameters on all set-ups and create new parameters on new jobs.
Make proper changeovers on dies and obtain and return changeover parts to and from assigned destinations.
Troubleshoot and assist in troubleshooting with die makers when necessary.
Lubricate dies daily, including draw pins, guidepost, bushings, cam drivers, etc
Keep the proper oil mixture at each die that requires it for the operator's use.
Relieve operators on an emergency basis, when necessary.
Polish dies due to galling when needed.
Maintain bolt carts, bolsters on presses, racks, and cabinets clean and orderly fashion.
All other duties as assigned by management

Working Conditions: Plant environment, working on and around machinery. Moving and setting large stamping dies up to 50K lbs.

Physical Component(s): Standing 7.7 hours, capable of lifting from 10 lbs - 40 lbs consistently to include; pushing, pulling, bending, some stooping, and reaching, using manual tools and compressed air impact guns.

Education/Experience: Experience in set-up and operation of the large stamping press. Must be capable of learning to troubleshoot issues with stamping die and press.

Other Requirements:
Good communication skills
Must be capable of completing required paperwork.
Capable of being trained in Lock-out/Tag-out, crane, and die-setting.
Capable of driving a tow motor/die cart

General Function: To ensure all outgoing parts are correctly packaged and labeled as required by customer instructions. Ensure all documentation involved with shipping is accurate.

Job Duties:
Billing of all outgoing product to the customer
Following all package instructions as required per customer; to include correct bar code labeling, correct quantity, wrap, and band as necessary
Verify product for proper tags
Proper use of wrapper and ba**er; following instructions to ensure safety
Coordinate shipping/dock employees work in an efficient manner
Responsible for keeping brush line stocked with cardboard, skids, crates, and baskets
Ensure tow motor is in safe working condition, completing check sheet and forwarding documentation to maintenance
Loading trucks for shipments and accurately recording load lists
Unload trucks and accurately recording receipt of material/product. Verify trailers are safe before loading or unloading
Assist production in moving material and emptying scrap tubs
Ensure material and parts are in proper locations
Ensure proper documentation for accurate inventory
All other duties as assigned by management

Other Requirements:
Possess a valid tow motor operator’s license issued by the company
Basic computer skills using M2M software and the use of hand scanners
Must be available to work overtime, including weekends as required
Working Conditions: Environment includes the plant, shipping office, dock, in and out of trailers, outside of plant and warehouse (separate location). Standing, walking, sitting, and driving tow motors throughout the working day, capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and some stooping up to 40 lbs.

Education/Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English

General Function: Build, repair and maintain dies, tooling and fixtures to support production.

Job Duties:
Build and repair tooling using machine shop tools and measuring instruments.

Work from blueprints and sketches to create or modify tools, dies, and jigs.

Set up and operate all tool room equipment.

Assist production with problem-solving on tooling issues.

Working Conditions:
Plant environment; working in and out of presses with tooling.

Physical Component(s):
Standing and walking up to 100% of work time. Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs to include; pushing, pulling, bending, reaching and some stooping.

Education/Experience:
4 years plus proven experience working as a Tool and Die Maker in a manufacturing environment, along with experience on stamping dies. Journeyman’s Tool and Die Maker’s card or certification a plus.
