This video features a live demonstration from the show, highlighting our system conveying plastic pellets in a slug flow regime—a process designed for gentle and efficient material handling.

Our show system demonstrates the power and precision of Macawber's dense phase conveying method, where material is gently conveyed on itself without the use of air boosters, minimizing the possibility of degradation. These nine (9) Macawber dense phase systems will be implemented into a new, state-of-the-art brass . In support of their molding processes, the Denseveyor® transporters will convey and across the 350,000 square foot facility to multiple, strategic production areas. The five (5) Ashveyor® vessels will provide the removal of silica as it is collected in the facility’s baghouse, being conveyed more than 650ft. to a waste silo and disposal.

This Macawber dense phase pneumatic conveying system, designed specifically for conveying milled silica, is an engineered solution that ensures the safe and efficient transportation of the fine, abrasive material through a fully enclosed pipeline. Unlike dilute phase, the material is transported gently at a higher pressure and lower velocity, reducing the impact abrasive materials can present to operations. The value is immediate in the areas of reduced wear and minimized dust generation, both of which are essential when handling materials such as milled silica. Macawber’s custom solution to this application includes a 12-cubic foot Denseveyor®, 8-inch inlet Dome Valve®, and 6-inch outlet Dome Valve® to transfer 10 tons of material an hour at a distance of 128 feet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EpdZqLT3nw
