Another fantastic morning on the water! The weather was hit and miss with the rain and wind, but it didn’t slow these boys down. We put a bucketful of Kokanee in the boat before the rain really settled in, released a few smaller Kokanee, and let a handful of cutthroat go to fight another day. These boys are officially hooked! 🎣🔥

Today’s adventure was fueled by Skittles, Jolly Ranchers, and soda. These kids straight up went to work on the fish this morning

We hit the river chasing Kings and pounded a bunch of holes, but they stayed elusive. We did find some nice trout and whitefish along the way. The new Wooldridge sled fishes great. Hope everyone has a good weekend and tight lines out there.

This weekend was a fun one. Starting Friday, we hit the lake and put some Kokanee on ice. Saturday was the Lake Stevens Derby, and the weather was absolutely crazy. No monster fish for us, but a good friend’s wife got the big fish on their boat — congratulations to them!

Sunday’s weather was much better; however, the water temp dropped quite a bit, which slowed the bite down for us. We still managed to land 16 nice Kokanee, releasing two along with a really nice cutthroat to swim another day.

We had a fun morning chasing Kokanee—looks like they studied the playbook and executed perfectly. Straight to the net… GOAL! 🎣🏒

Water temps are on the rise, sitting at 53°. We ran four long lines 70–80 ft back early. Around 6:45–7:00, once the sun hit the water, we dropped the downriggers to 25–45 ft. They couldn’t resist the combo—Schindler's Fly Shack flies, and Elgin Fishing Goods tooth, paired with Poulsen Cascade Tackle dodgers.
