Sam Bailey built a lyre harp from oak, walnut, and cedar using his DWC2440. The new design doubled the sound box. It's louder, with better overtone and sustain than most lyre harps he's made. He's already talking about teaching a class on building one, and we are looking forward to see it.

In 2017, Rose George spent 19 hours carving a 6-foot sign for Purdue University. Somewhere along the carve, the machine clipped a clamp and started to go wrong. In a more recent comment in the DWC owners group, she recalled how Burl came out in person, requeued the file, and got the job reset.

The sign was finished, and it is still hanging today.
