We heard a lot of positive feedback about the arch and lighting in the MCBD Walkable Alleyway during the 31st Annual Holiday Stroll. We'd like to thank everyone that made this project possible. It took Team Work to make this Dream Work!

Aaron Kinkade, owner of AK Construction LLC ran the cable, hung the festoon lights, and worked on the sign to perfection. Troy's Electric LLC came in on short notice, and ran the electrical for the beautiful lighting. Wax Xtatic Record Audio Stereo Shop and Tremont Restaurants gave permission & supported the MCBD to attach the cable to their buildings. Central Iowa Machine Shop designed, built and installed the arch and custom sign. Jim Johnson, owner of Showroom Auto, who is also MCBD Design Co-chair, along with MCBD Executive Director Deb Millizer coordinated the project.

We have more exciting things planned, so stayed tuned. We also ask that you please share all the positives that are happening in Downtown Marshalltown. Working together, as a community is how we grow.

You can read more about the alleyway in the Times-Republican article. https://www.timesrepublican.com/news/todays-news/2023/11/mcbd-installs-arch-new-lights-in-pedestrian-alleyway/
