Seeking talented Mid-Level Engineer with 3-5+ years relevant experience in industrial wastewater treatment system design, operational troubleshooting, compliance assurance, and facility permitting. In this role, the successful candidate will provide technical direction to staff and clients with regard to technical know-how on all project aspects including: planning and design activities for new/updated treatment facilities, system troubleshooting/optimization, operational safety, permitting, regulatory compliance, and hazardous waste management. Manage projects and/or support the assigned project manager in executing technical assignments, developing or reviewing project deliverables, mentoring engineering staff, and client management.
Candidates should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, be capable of handling multiple priorities, and be able to work well both independently and in a team environment. Experience with AutoCAD, proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project), familiarity with internet searching techniques, and experience with consulting and/or working in industry/manufacturing environments is preferred. Familiarity with process operations of electronics, semiconductor, metal finishing, biotechnology/biosciences, hospitals, and/or other industries is a strong plus. Air treatment/compliance background also a strong plus.
Position requires EIT Registration (P.E Registration a plus) with minimum and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering or Environmental/Civil Engineering with strong chemistry background. Level II or greater Licensed WWTP Operator (MA) licensure is highly desirable.
