Ok....I've tried to be understanding here as all the trucks are using our property as a turn around, blocked off our company parking lot with equipment and park to go across the street for food because yes, we need the road fixed... BUT...come on now, do better! Cleaning out your truck scraps onto private property and leaving a mound of them right in the middle of where our delivery trucks have to back up to our loading dock? Can we be a little respectfull of other people's property please!

Anyone know who in Marion is in charge of the communication with businesses? We used to get requests mailed or emailed to us so we knew what programs were looking for sponsors/donations. We haven't seen any in at least a couple years now. Would really like to see some communications again on what programs are going on or upcoming that are looking for donations. Most companies look for a few to sponsor/donate to every year, it would be really nice to be able to keep it local. We miss seeing the company names on kid's sports shirts and signs at the town park with all the local companies sponsoring the kid's programs and town park improvements..... where did that go? If it's still happening, how do we get back on the list to be included?

Wayne County Sheriffs are attempting to ID the pictured suspect in relation to a stolen vehicle on 08/27/2023
from in the Town of Marion. That vehicle was found on E Main Street in the Town of Sodus. IF anyone can identify this individual, or has any information relative to this reported crime, please contact The Wayne County Sheriff's Office at 315-946-9711, or email Detective Sergeant Andrew Hares at [email protected]

Stolen vehicle incidents are on the rise. Please remember to lock your vehicles and remove the keys from them. Most of the vehicles reported stolen have had the keys left in them.

If anyone is able to help identify who is responsible for this, PLEASE do so.
Small businesses are barely making it as it is, this is both maddening and very sad that this has somehow become the new "norm".

From the beginning we decided as a business we'd never post on social media about theft. As a self-serve stand does it happen? Every day. We have to compartmentalize it, stay positive and keep moving forward. But this week someone stole a baby chick from the coop and last night as we celebrated our daughter's 5th birthday at home, 2 hooded guys came in with garbage bags and took every quart of peaches, every ear of corn, every cookie, pretty much every last item in all 3 gazebos. Imagine walking in to work on Sunday morning after working all week and watching that on the surveillance cameras. With lumps in our throats we'll restock and replenish but what was taken from us is heavier than produce and more expensive than products. We know the risks of operating our stand but the alternative is not to have one anymore. Sorry for the Sunday blues but sometimes we have to share the dirt instead of the sunshine. By the way Friends of the Farm, anybody happen to know this guy? Feel free to share, it would feel better to catch this guy.
