Here’s an updated post on additional services we offer here at the shop! People are used to this building in the past to be an auto repair shop only, but we still operate as a parts store too! Here are some of the services we offer on the parts side

Free OBDII Scan

Free battery health check

(Exclusions can apply to the following)

Free battery install if battery is purchased from us

Free air filter install if filter is purchased from us

Free wiper blade install if wipers are purchased from us

Some exclusions apply as some vehicles have harder battery and filter locations to access (usually more rare than not), but we can still use the shop to install them for those exceptions for a small fee!

Our batteries will also have an additional prorate added to them. Once your battery passes the warranty expiration, we have an additional prorate added to each automotive battery to give you peace of mind about your purchase!

Example: You buy a battery from us at $150 with a 3 year warranty, and your battery fails at 3 1/2 years. We offer an additional 12 month proration on our batteries, so in this case, the battery is out of the free replacement period, but is covered under our prorated program. We would pay $75 and you pay $75, and still get a free battery install!

We want to make sure you have confidence in your purchase here with us. We will stand behind our products and our guarantees to give our customers assurance when they do business with us!

Just FYI, our key drop box and form box is open for use! If you are stopping by after hours, please fill out a form with your name and phone number (pictured to the right of the garage bay), insert your key in the envelope, and drop it off in the drop box. We are open for basic repairs and services. Alignments and tires are in the near future forecast for us, so please keep your eyes and ears peeled for those future announcements!

I also wanted to use this post to thank the many customers that have already stopped by and had their vehicle serviced! Several oil changes, tire rotations, and bigger jobs have already been taken care of and out the door. Also don’t forget that we are very competitive on our auto parts pricing. This sign now applies to parts and service both! We are 100% cleared for all business services. WE ARE OPEN on all sides and can now start accepting service customers! Thank you all for the continued support and everyone who has stopped by to get their parts from us. All the patient waiting with the remodeling it needed to open was completely worth it. The Lord has abundantly blessed us, and I’m so glad we can now serve our community!

Don’t forget that we also sell auto parts here at Hughes Auto Parts and Service! As I’ve said before, our staples here will be our filters, batteries and brakes. Here is an example of our brake pricing we offer here at the store compared to our in town competitors. The example used is front pads and rotors for a 2013 Chevrolet 1500 pick up, using an apples to apples comparison with our lifetime warranty pads, and 3 year warranty rotors

This is not a limited time price, but our all day, every day price! If you have us do the service for your vehicle and buy the parts from us, there’s also an additional 5% discount off of the parts! While on the topic of discounts, please keep in mind that we also have a 10% discount for our public servants and veterans! EMS, police, firefighters, school faculty and administrators, etc, all qualify, and of course anyone who has served, or is currently serving our country also qualifies. This is 10% off of parts AND labor! This is a thank you for all the hard work you do to serve our community and country!

All kinds of filters moved out of here and sold, along with a battery too! This is a lot more business than I thought there would be for being open less than a week, so I’m very appreciative and thankful for the people that have thought of us already for their parts needs! I’m now introducing my filter pricing! I’m using a 57502 oil filter as an example. You will get a reduced cost on the filters the more that you buy.

Cost for (1) 57502 - $9.70
Cost for (6) 57502’s - $7.76 a piece
Cost for (12) 57502’s - $6.01 a piece

There are also some deeper discounts for big filter orders! Thing number next. You don’t have to buy the same filter to get the discount. Need a mix of a cabin air filter, air filter, fuel filter, and 3 oil filters? You just met the criteria for the 6 filter discount! The same principle applies for every tier of discount available. Let me nip it in the bud, anticipate and answer any questions I might receive about this.

“This must only be for the commercial shops”. Nope!
You can walk in this store with no account, and those discounts automatically apply.

“What about hydraulic, coolant, industrial, etc filters? Does that apply for them too?” It sure does!

“Do you have any other filter brands this applies to?” Yep! I have a more economical brand of filter (that are also made by Wix) that meet manufacturer OE standards that this pricing structure will also apply to

As long as Wix or my house brand shows a listing for it and I have availability on the filter, this pricing structure will apply.

I’ve worked long and hard on this, as well with my other parts pricing structures and tiers, to bring the best possible pricing for this area. If you’re looking for a quality filter at a reasonable price, consider us the next time before you buy!
