Customer wanted a doggy door put into her existing screen door. I removed the screen and added a sheet of aluminum so that the doggy door had something to attach to. At the end of July 2023, we teased that Shawn would be designing, fabricating and welding a project unlike anything he had done before. Shawn and I had met this couple through our son's flag football team. They had a bought a house and was remodeling and decided they wanted something unique for their basement entertainment area. Shawn and I met with them to get a feel for what they were wanting and Shawn set out to draw it up. Once the plan was approved, Shawn started fabrication. This was a labor of love for the customers and for Shawn. The bar frame is built out of aluminum as well as the 4 custom bar stools that were fabricated. The frame was fitted to the existing cabinets the homeowners already had in place from the previous bar. This project really took on a life of it's own. Precise measurements, fabrication challenges, polishing the aluminum, time and weather had to all be factored into this build. At the time of installation, the homeowners were still deciding on what the bar top would be made of. Shawn fabricated the stools to match and they also will have same the wood as the bar top. We hope that the family enjoys many gatherings around the bar for years to come.

The customer was looking for mobile welders in the area on Google. After looking at my business profile and some of the jobs I had done, he contacted me. Upon looking at the Conestoga trailer and giving the customer a free quote, he said he would be in touch. A few days went by and he called for me to do the job. I loaded up the truck and set out to do the repair in the lot where the trailer was located. I cleaned up the area where the crack was located, grooved out the crack and then re-welded the aluminum. I also added a gusset to take some pressure off of the cracked area. On this repair job, I used the TIG machine to allow for more heat control and less sparks. I didn't want to burn up the customer's tarp.

Who said welders aren't romantic? You never know what Shawn is going to make when he goes into the garage. I personally love the fact I don't have to have a green thumb to take care of this flower. The gift that will never need replaced. Don't sleep on this gift idea for your special someone.

A customer called Shawn because the bracket on their skidder had broke into two pieces. For those who aren't familiar with skidders; a skidder is most commonly used to perform logging operations. Shawn cleaned the bracket first, then used a hand grinder to bevel all the edges. Shawn pre-heated the bracket, and then performed a cycle of welding and peening to ensure the repair was done correctly. Contact Shawn today at 740-350-3042 to discuss your fabrication/welding needs.
