All materials, work orders, and procedures are tracked through the use of our proprietary barcode system. In-process inspections and test operations are performed by manual and computerized processes. Preventative maintenance and cleaning is performed daily on our facility and all our equipment. Every monitoring and measuring process is scrutinized to drive improvements. Process and configuration documents are saved and filed. Travel sheets are attached to work orders to assure accuracy of customer specifications. Our Engineering and Machine Quality Departments review all incoming and outgoing orders. Conformance to customer specification is checked and verified by the Engineering Department before an order is accepted. All customers' designs are also reviewed prior to production to attempt to reduce product cost and improve manufacturing processes. The packaging and marking processes are tightly controlled and checked regularly. Inventory control procedures are utilized daily to maximize turns while minimizing stock-outs. our custom computer program and planning functions allow flexible delivery schedules. Our Engineering Department plans and schedules per order request in order to manage long lead times. Material is identified, confirmed, bar-coded, and signed on receipt by delegated receiving personnel. All certificates of conformance are scanned and filed for reference. Non-conforming material is identified, marked, and segregated. All shipping documents are scanned and filed and available for review indefinitely. Our engineering department supervises the process performance and monitoring of all products. A travel sheet for each part follows the manufacturing process from start to the end. The part history is kept eternally. Customer satisfaction metrics are in place to drive actions and ensure continuous improvements. Our quality system is regularly reviewed for effectiveness. Continuous quality control on all parts is performed to verify precision. Dynamic Machine & Tool quality goals are designed to meet customer expectations and are targeted for continuous improvements. At V&G Dynamic Machine and Took, Inc. statistical techniques are used in determining the acceptability of finished goods to customer requirements. Inspections and test results are analyzed daily by our engineering department to improve the end product and machining processes. All of our test/inspection personnel are highly trained and follow strict guidelines regarding the procedures of their operations. A corrective action system is used, if required. Our Mitutoya Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) allows us fast single point measurements from elements and scanning of known and unknown part contours. We are able to check a wide range of feature tolerances including form, size, and location. We also use calibrated dial & digital calipers, micrometers, depth & height gages, radius gages, small hole gages, pin gages, cylinder gages, protractors, and telescoping hole gages. All inspection tools are calibrated daily. CMM inspections are performed to check conformity of manufactured parts. Tracking is done with the use of a calibration program, "Calibration Recal." takes employee training very seriously.
