On May 27, we celebrated another loyal long-term employee of almost 28 years. Doug worked on Industrial Parts Washers as a certified welder. and was also a skilled painter, contributing to the visual and functional integrity of our equipment. One of Doug’s most valued contributions was his role in training and mentoring. He not only taught welding techniques but also guided others in painting, ensuring that new team members could quickly become productive. His loyalty, craftsmanship, and commitment to excellence made him a respected figure in our workplace. Our hats off to this outstanding employee and we wish Doug a fabulous retirement filled with joy, new adventures, and continued success!

We were honored yesterday to host Iowa's Attorney General, Brenna Bird. Attorney Bird was met by many honored guests at the entrance of the PMW administration building where she visited with each who welcomed her. The group then followed one of PMW's managers, Tom, who led the group on a tour of the manufacturing plant giving history and knowledge of the products the company manufactures. Jesse Cram, PMW's owner, was with the group and gave detailed discussion on the uniqueness of several of the parts washers in process. The session ended in the plant where PMW Team Members joined with Attorney Bird giving a background of herself and then shared many of the organizations she has been working with and issues in Iowa that she has been focusing. In attendance were the Jackson County Board of Supervisors, Don Schwenker, Nin Flagal, and Mike Steines, City Manager of Maquoketa, Josh Bolt, Jackson County Republican Central Committee Chair, Mark Beauchamp, City of Maquoketa Sherrif, Brent Kilburg, Police Chief, Brendan Zeimet and Officer JT Thomson, Chamber director, Erin Kahler, City of Bellevue, Teresa Weinschenk, Jackson Manufacturing owner, Jack Hasken, and Jackson County Economic Alliance director, Kelley Brown.
