Well if it wasn't enough to go through all the flooding this past fall now the pipes in the ceiling burst last week and ruined a bunch more items that were saved from the flood. SMH. Just can't win.

Deer Creek Park is closed until further notice. This includes the section of the Great Rivers Greenway path that runs through the park.

We would also like to take a minute to express our sincere gratitude and thanks to the Maplewood Public Works Department and all the First Responders that have been around helping and cleaning the park. You are all heros.

And to all of the above groups for all the great life saving work you did during the flood. I heard of several water rescues and just wanted to say all of you are great. Thanks.

Say a prayer that tonight's rain isn't bad. We have been cleaning every day and we are putting a good dent in it. It has been a sad journey throwing away so much stuff.

2 days later flooded again. Luckily less than half as much water as the first time on Tuesday. Ruined some of the cleaning stuff we had in there this time. We just can't catch a break.

My wife and I both work hard and have suffered significant losses in the past few years with all the shut downs. I know it has hurt a lot of people and businesses. I have always been self sufficient and been able to bounce back but with everything happening in such a short time I am out of funding and could use a little help this time to rebuild. It started in 2019 at my shop in Grafton, IL. I flooded there and lost a bunch of money then COVID I was forced to close my dart shop in South St. Louis and now this again in this short amount of time I am just losing my mind. Help if you can or share the post to as many people you can. I just want to be back in the park and seeing the smiling faces of all the kids again. We love this community. We live here and we love it. Everyone be safe. We lost about $25,000 this time between equipment and products this time. Everything has been rising in cost over the last few years and we have just been absorbing it trying our best not to raise the prices to keep it reasonable for the families. In 19 years in this business we have only raised our prices 4 times and so that takes out a lot if any profit.
