When a forklift bumps an upright or a beam starts to bow, how do you know if it's safe to leave, time to repair, or critical to replace? A rack engineered to hold a specific load on day one might not hold that same capacity after years of wear and tear.

In our latest guide, we cover the essentials of warehouse safety:
🔍 How to recognize hidden rack damage
⚖️ The criteria for deciding when a component must be replaced
đź“‹ How to perform routine safety inspections to catch small problems early

Just because a beam fits into an upright does not mean it is safe to load.

It can be tempting to buy mismatched components or use leftover racking from another facility to save money on a warehouse expansion. However, mixing pallet rack brands eliminates your system's engineered weight rating. Without a verified capacity, your warehouse is at a higher risk for beam disengagement and rack collapse.

Before you combine components, read our complete guide on the dangers of mixing pallet rack brands. We cover the hidden risks, safety compliance issues, and how to properly identify your current racking to ensure you are buying a safe, exact match.
