Pulling the control valve on this T770 due to some internal damage.

This was definitely one of those “I should post this” moments.

The fittings are all super tight and giving me trouble, not a problem for the mini chain hoist though. I don’t know what I would do without this thing now.

Every carpenter needs a bobcat. Sawhorses are a thing of the past.

Jk. Building some custom jack stands to replace my cinder blocks for the work truck. Gotta pull the transmission soon. I didn’t like how the cinder blocks looked, no way to chock the wheels.

Another auxiliary controller replaced for this T870. Bad internals, Code M4404.

New quick couplers and some protective boots so hopefully they last a little longer this time around. These things sure take a beating. Even that little nick on the female side rendered it unusable

If you were ever wondering if the motor mounts are replaceable easily on the D24 machines, the answer is yes.

I imagine this would be much harder on machines with all the options. The right side is usually very crowded.

I didn’t take many pictures today, forgot. Here’s the diagram of the machine I was working on.

The right handle switch wiring on an old 863 got cut and I had to splice the wires back together.

It had the old flash codes, alternate flashing lights on the auxiliary button. This led me right to the handle switch and it was right. The wires had been twisted back together in the wrong order as they were all white and faded. I used the pinout to confirm orientation.

This was before I found and fixed a partially kinked hose under the engine. Lots of air and about 5 inches of vacuum on the inlet.

This machine would die randomly and suck the primer ball down with no codes. Had some algae in the tank but not too bad.

After fixing there is no air at all and no more than 1 inch of vacuum at full rpm/load.

Found some serious air-in-fuel problems with this T650 today along with other issues with the fuel system. I got curious and took the old valve apart, pretty interesting in there.

This will not be going back on. I tried a new valve and quick connect just to have the same problem. Deleted the valve with a splice and no more air 😮

No need for this in Texas anyway.

I have a feeling the quick connects on the fuel pump probably pull in a little air too, but we can’t do much about that aside from adding a pressurized system like the R/m3 models.

This might be a contributing factor to these fuel systems going bad, air is not a good lubricant after all.

Dirty fuel tanks are a constant problem here and rarely is pulling the tank out in the budget. Trying something new out on this one. Drilled out to 5/32 and chamfered. Lots of gunk in this tank so it will be getting multiple flushes and cleaner
