GETTING TO KNOW US
Here at Miller Hydraulic services, we started small. We mowed neighbors’ lawns and worked on our cars, not aware that we were building a skill set that we could bring into our work. We sharpened these skills in school, high school shop classes, and vocational training through machine metal classes at the Kankakee Area Career Center. The more we learned, the more invested we bec
ame. This was a chance to help people, give back to our community, and engage in something we cared about. We began like so many others in the service and repair industry, but we’ve worked to set ourselves apart since those days. LOOKING BACK AT OUR HISTORY
Miller Hydraulic completed our first maintenance job way back in 1974, albeit under a different name. Two years later, we transitioned to the steel industry, completing rigorous millwright training in 1980. This education gave us a foundation that we could build upon more and more in the subsequent years. It allowed us to start, maintain and excel in a career in hydraulic repair. Miller Hydraulic opened under its current name and identity in 1996. Since then, we have grown to more than 20 dedicated employees. We have been there for thousands of customers with customized, honest, and efficient service, and we will be there for you too. Hustle is doing something that everyone is absolutely certain can't be done. Hustle is getting the order because you got there first, or stayed with it after everyone else gave up. Hustle is shoe leather and elbow grease and sweat and missing lunch. Hustle is getting prospects to say "yes" after they've said "no" twenty times. Hustle is doing more for a customer than the other guy is doing for him. Hustle is believing in yourself and the business you're in. Hustle is the sheer joy of winning. Hustle is being the sorest loser in town. Hustle is hating to take a vacation because you might miss a piece of the action. Hustle is heaven if you're a hustler. Hustle is hell if you're not.
