David Gajda and Jose Malagon were happy to share the spotlight with Mike Clark as we were awarded the #1916 historical marker from the Lenawee County Historical Society. Mike and his wife actually use to live in this house along time ago. Mike is a big proponent of Manitou Beach village and the historic significance of the area. Vote for Mike Clark in the August 5th primary, its time for a change.

The 41st annual fireworks display will be on Friday July 5, 2024 over the sand bar on Devils Lake at 10:00 PM, rain date July 6th

This years show is funded entirely by donations and will cost over $48,000. The DRLFD is a nonprofit organization and nearly 100% of donations are used to pay for the Fireworks.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this years show a success!

Next year will be our 39th consecutive year and I am pleased to report that we have a number of new and younger volunteers who have committed to helping this tradition into the future.

Like our original committee, our equipment, pontoons and two cycle outboard motors are aging and are in need of replacement. We will need everyone’s help to accomplish this and we will send out more information as we proceed with the overhaul of our small fleet.

Next years show will be on Sunday July 3rd and we are already hard at work to bring you the best show yet next year!

The 37th annual Devils Lake Fireworks Display will take place Friday July 3, 2020 at 10:00 PM on the sand bar on Devils Lake.

We have Ace Pyrotechnics returning again this year after a spectacular show last year.

Due to uncertainties prior to this announcement, we are late in our fundraising effort. The Devils and Round Lakes Fireworks Display, Inc. Is a non-profit volunteer organization and 100% of the money raised is spent on the show.

We need $35K for the show this year and we need it before July. Please send your donations to the DRFD, Inc. PO Box 21, Manitou Beach, MI 49253.

It will be a great way to say goodbye to the first six months of 2020 and celebrate our nations birthday!

I was disappointed to read in tonight's Adrian Daily Telegram that Woodstock Township voted again this year not to support the Lenawee County Sheriffs Departments request for $1,000 to help defray the cost of extra boat and road patrols during the annual 4th of July Fireworks Display.

I also read that Woodstock Treasurer Teresa Votzke compared the annual community fireworks display to the Faster Horses Event held at MIS which contracts with the State Police for security and said that the Devils and Round Lakes Fireworks security should be paid by my family.

I would first like to point out that "Faster Horse" is a private event, sponsored by a private company on private property and that the only way to attend is to buy an expensive ticket.

The Devils and Round Lakes Fireworks Display, Inc. is a non-profit volunteer organization which has put on the Fireworks Display for 35 years. The show is free and is shot over Devils Lake for all to see and enjoy.

The Show is funded entirely by donations from our community and celebrates our Nations birthday and honors all those who have served, fought and died to make us free.

Our governments primarily obligation at all levels is to ensure the safety of its citizens.
The Devils Lake Fireworks is the largest Community event held each Summer and the refusal of the Woodstock Board to support our Lake Community is disappointing!

I want to thank the Lenawee County Sherriff Department for their unwavering support for the past 35 years; we could not put on the Display without them!!!!
I also would like to thank Rollin Township for their contribution for the past two years.
