JS Sign is hiring! looking for someone to do regular vehicle and equipment maintenance, assist in shop work and fabrication and help on an occasional installation . Welding, electrical, Mechanical and Autobody experience a plus.

Now the stuff to w**d out about 95% of people who might be interested.
No cell phone use during work hours
We work 5 days a week, every week, all year. If you have other commitments
that constantly need your attention it won’t work. Keep in mind that it’s your job that provides for you and your family. Or it should be anyway.
Must have a valid drivers license
If you cannot be in the building, not pulling up , not just around the corner, not waiting in line at Shop Quik, not stuck in traffic etc by 8:00am Everyday. It won’t work.
Random drug tests
Must be able to work in inclement (bad) weather
Must be able to follow direction
Must have basic hand tool knowledge; not tool identification but actual knowledge of how to use them.
Must like to work. If you do it 8-10 hours a day you might as well like it.
Jake and I work hard and enjoy it. I have no desire to add someone who insists on bitching constantly about everything.

Here’s for the 5% still reading this:
Our vehicles and tools are nice, no junk
Shop is air conditioned
Work environment is pretty relaxed and drama free
This is not factory or mass production work. There are always new things to do, new processes to learn/master, you know, engaging work type stuff.
One week trial period before full time employment. (paid) I want to know that Jake and I like having you there before you’re hired. It also gives you the same chance to see if you would like working with us. Consider it “dating” for a week before we decide to go steady!
