About Us

The Great Plains Technology and Manufacturing Cluster (Great Plains TMC) is a part of the Small Business Administration’s Regional Innovation Clusters program. These clusters exist to help small businesses thrive through economic development.

The Great Plains TMC serves the state of Kansas and the western Missouri KC metro area. This region, both rural and urban areas, experience a lack of connections with resources, markets, and knowledge. Great Plains TMC looks to find solutions to address these challenges and create a competitive advantage for the region.

Building relationships with individuals and businesses is key to achieve innovative success. To accomplish this, we have partnered with technology and business resources to assist with challenges as well as protect, develop, launch, and grow new products in the Great Plains TMC region. Our partnerships include economic development agencies, commercialization and entrepreneurship professionals, state agencies, and federal government entities.

By providing a wide range of resources, companies can expand and improve their technology and business capabilities. Experienced staff and partnerships will assist in leading individuals and manufacturers to innovative success with the following resources: engineering and technology, workforce development, database analytics, commercialization and R&D, business/technology counseling, and workshops.
