Today is the first of many store cookouts this year. Today, our cooking guest is Scott (from Ramunto’s in Arlington- who volunteered his own time to be her with us today), and the wonderful volunteers from Neighbor To Neighbor! Stop by and learn more about this amazing organization (and check out Scott’s cooking skills). He’s never cooked on a Big Green Egg before, and he’s already an EGGspert! There’s also a surprise raffle for a Ramunto’s gift certificate! We are 1/2 way through the month, and looking for as many donations as possible! We look forward to seeing you on this beautiful day!

For Mother’s Day this weekend, we have a beautiful selection of plants, gardening accessories, and more for that special Mom in your life! We even have a few specials going on! With the 1st week already behind us, so far we’ve raised $382.34 for Neighbor To Neighbor! We are super excited to let everyone know in advance, that we are planning a small cook-out alongside Neighbor To Neighbor on 05/16 or 05/17 (weather permitting). We will be doing a little grilling of pre-cooked goods, as well as having some small dessert selections. This will be held in our parking lot. Stop on in, grab a bite to eat, do some shopping, and we will fill you in on how much of an amazing organization that Neighbor To Neighbor is, and what they do for the community and surrounding areas! We want to thank everyone who’s donated so far. Let’s see some more donations roll in, and let’s get them as many donations as possible! We look forward to seeing everyone!

Every year, we pick a LOCAL 501(c)(3) organization for our annual Round Up campaign. This year, we teamed up with an amazing volunteer-based organization called Neighbor To Neighbor. They provide home visits and chats to those who might not be able to make it out and about. They also provide transportation to medical appointments, for food, shopping, etc. throughout the community and surrounding towns. Furthermore, they do errands for those who cannot get what they need and do chores around the house. The Round Up is for the entire month of May. Any little bit helps. The Aubuchon Foundation will match up to $2,500, so there is a potential of raising over $5,000 for this wonderful organization. Every single dime of the Round Up goes right to them. So please, stop in and let’s help Neighbor To Neighbor earn as much as possible! They’re always looking for volunteers if anyone is interested!

In order to meet the Township of Manchester’s needs, we’ve decided to reconfigure the front of our store. All of our palletized goods that were once out front, are currently located behind our fence. As a friendly reminder, we are open from 7:30am-7:00pm Monday-Friday, 7:30am-6:00pm on Saturday, and 8:00am-5:00pm on Sunday. Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to seeing you!
