We’re hiring a Summer Intern at KLINE!

If you’re a civil engineering student (BS senior or MS) interested in structural engineering, this is an opportunity to gain real, hands-on experience working alongside our team.

At KLINE, interns don’t just observe, they contribute. You’ll be exposed to structural design, analysis, and BIM while supporting active projects and learning from engineers involved in shaping the future of post-tensioned concrete design.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Manassas, VA, designed to provide mentorship, technical growth, and a true understanding of what it’s like to work in a fast-paced structural engineering environment.

Big congratulations to two of our team members on their well-earned promotions at KLINE 👏

🔹 Joseph Diaz has been promoted to Project Engineer II. Since joining KLINE in 2023, Joseph has brought strong expertise in structural modeling and civil engineering, contributing to the successful delivery of our projects.

🔹 Yuriko Reategui has been promoted to Engineer Coordinator. With KLINE since 2022, Yuriko will now focus on supporting projects through the Construction Administration phase, helping ensure quality and coordination in the field.

These promotions reflect their hard work, growth, and commitment to the team.

We are proud to see our people continue to grow and take on new challenges.

March flew by at KLINE, and it was a great reminder that doing great work starts with taking care of great people.

This month, we took intentional pauses from our busy schedules to celebrate World Engineering Day, reflect on the impact of our work, and reconnect as a team. With a group that truly represents all corners of the world, those moments matter. For World Engineering Day, we put our skills to the test and built LEGOs, because trust us… We can build it! (IYKYK)😊

We also took the opportunity to refresh our team photos – Stay tuned! - and to celebrate our Employees of the Quarter: Cindy Legonia, Joseph Alonso Diaz Yrupailla, and Nicholas Szarzynski, S.E.I, E.I., who truly embody KLINE’s core values.
We kicked off our first strategic meeting of the year, focusing on what’s ahead and how we continue to grow stronger together. It was a packed day, and of course, we wrapped it up the right way… with a little friendly competition at the bowling alley!

At KLINE, we take pride in being experts in value-driven design, but just as importantly, we understand the importance of balance in an industry that doesn’t always slow down. Our people come first, always.

Big shoutout to our Principal & VP of Operations, Katherine Farley, P.E., and our Finance Manager, Lena Strawser, for taking on the 9th Annual Ditch Diggers Dash 5K this past weekend in Manassas! Not only did they crush the run, but they also supported two amazing causes:
💙 The Sweet Julia Grace Foundation, granting wishes to children who are medically fragile, have complex needs, or are facing a medical crisis.
💙 The HCCA Family Relief Fund assisting families who have experienced tremendous adversity or the loss of a loved one while working in the construction field.
Way to represent Team KLINE! We encourage everyone to get involved, whether by participating, volunteering, or donating to these incredible organizations or other causes close to your heart.
