Since 1998, EZG has become the leading equipment manufacturer for the masonry, fencing and construction markets. With roots fixed in the contracting industry, CEO Damian Lang started the EZ Grout equipment line to improve the efficiency of his own masonry job sites, recognizing the need for a better way to fill masonry block (wall grouting). Conventional approaches were either too labor intensive
or prone to mechanical failure, so after developing and testing several prototype models, the Grout Hog® was born. Damian introduced his patented delivery system in early 1999, and soon after began selling the machines to his colleagues and competitors alike. As a true innovator and driven by his passion for constant process improvement, Damian wasn’t willing to stop with the success of the Grout Hog®. He worked with his staff at Lang Masonry and other mason contractors to craft solutions for other job site challenges. Over the years, Damian and his team have developed a complete line of masonry products including the well-known Mud Hog®, Uphill Grout Hog®, Hog Slopper®, Hog Leg®, Hog Trough®, and Booger Hog®. While providing top-notch, user-friendly equipment, Damian has never lost sight of his dedication to helping contractors increase efficiency and profitability with American made products built from hands-on experience. Due to the considerable labor savings and high quality standards behind each product that the EZ Grout equipment line offers, their growing equipment can be found on job sites throughout the world. With the advent of the Fence Hog® product line, even more customers have found the benefits of using EZG equipment. This growth opened the door to EZG Manufacturing®, a division of EZ Grout Corporation that offers custom manufacturing solutions beyond the world of contractor equipment. Whether it is as simple as bending metal or as complex as custom laser cutting and machining, EZG Manufacturing® has quickly become as successful as the EZ Grout equipment line, the Fence Hog, Lang Masonry, and every other company into which Damian has put his drive and determination. Far beyond the world of working with his hands, Damian has also written a book called R.A.C.E.- Rewarding and Challenging Employees: For Profits in Masonry. He also writes the Contractor Tip of the Month for major industry magazines, and is actively engaged in offering seminars and consulting with mason contractors and organizations throughout the United States. Whether advancing safety, quality, or the production efficiency on the job site, Damian remains committed to the contracting industry through every aspect of his life.
