WE ARE HIRING:
Millwright Team Member
Calumet Dryer Services, LLC is seeking a motivated entry-level Millwright to join its team. Experienced millwrights and candidates interested in beginning a career in industrial construction are encouraged to apply.
This position involves traveling to agricultural, grain-handling, and grain-drying facilities throughout Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. The successful candidate will install, repair, maintain, and upgrade equipment that helps customers operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Install grain storage, grain-handling, grain-drying, and processing equipment at new and existing facilities.
Repair and maintain grain-drying and grain-handling equipment.
Assemble equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues in the field.
Work safely at heights of 100 feet or more while using appropriate fall protection.
Operate—or become certified to operate—forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and other jobsite equipment.
Communicate project progress and complete assignments in coordination with the project manager.
Represent Calumet Dryer Services professionally when working with customers and subcontractors.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Troubleshoot equipment and make field adjustments as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to safely work at heights of 100 feet or more using fall protection.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Basic math skills.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to travel occasionally for work.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in millwright work, industrial construction, or the mechanical trades.
Agricultural, grain-handling, or grain-drying experience.
Welding or fabrication experience.
Experience operating construction equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills.
