Had a couple unique projects come out of the recently.
One customer needed a very specific size four panel collapsible rack built. It needed to be on wheels, lightweight, but sturdy enough to hold her stained glass projects. We got all that accomplished for her and finished it off in a nice satin black powder coat for durability.

We had another customer need a branding iron made from a logo they provided. We got that all cut out on the plasma table, welded up a nice handle, and topped it off with some high heat paint.

Lastly we knocked out a pair of new stair railings to replace a worn out set that didn’t look quite right with new concrete. We have made a few sets of stair railings lately and have a few more on the books, so stay tuned.

Put the plasma table to work a little bit over the last few days. Emily used her laser to engrave all the handwritten text on the infinity circle sign and it turned out awesome.

We have a ton of powder coat work going on now n the shop right now as well as some cool stuff people have ordered for Father’s Day. Stayed tuned to check it all out!

We have been posting lots of the powder coating projects lately, but that’s definitely not all that’s going on in the shop. Here is a look at just a few of the projects that we have done recently.

-Stair railing for a return customer in Paxton
-Flag poles for Gameday Spirit
-Cubs plant hook
-Outdoor electrical panel mounting brackets
-Pieces of 3/4” thick steel plate cut on the plasma table
-Quick welding repair on a customer’s lawnmower
-Cut and powder coated some pieces for a K9’s travel box

How about some more fishing tournament trophies! This time for Champaign Firefighters Local 1260 Crappie Tournament.

We were really happy with how all 19 of these turned out. 3 sizes, 3 layers, 3 colors, 3 divisions, 2 for each place in each division, and 1 Big Fish. My wife put her laser engraver to work so that we could get all of the text on each trophy as well.

The CNC plasma table tends to stay pretty busy time of year with derby season kicking off. Little bit of everything being made.

**Other than orders that are already in we will not be shipping anymore parts for derby cars. I am more than happy to cut and make stuff for anyone that wants to come and pick parts up. Most of these parts aren’t priced much over cost to help out local drivers who don’t want to pay the inflated prices and shipping from some of the big companies.

As always I’m more than happy to take your greasy cardboard templates and turn them into that one piece or part you can’t buy anywhere, but need to have for your build! 😂

Got the chance to do some 2-tone work on these wheels for my personal truck since it was need of new tires in a bad way.

These were coated in Prismatic Powders Triple Bronze with Casper Clear and Ford Tuxedo Black to match the paint color on my truck. Had to use the CNC plasma table to make some custom center caps to match and also cut out the racks to hold the lug nuts for coating.
