Who is your oilfield hero?

A bronze sculpture project honoring our hilfield.

It's official. I've been commissioned my first bronze sculpture. This 1.25 life size monument will honor the Uintah Basin oilfield and capture the history of the people who have worked so hard in bronze and tell their histories with photos, videos and word on the website. I feel such and honor to be a part of this and create a new landmark for this amazing community. Thank you Charitable Friends of Ashley Valley, Quinn Bennion, Vernal City and oil and gas for keeping warm on these Basin nights.

SNEAK PEEK!

This year, Dinosaur National Monument is making an upgrade to the Deerlodge Campground, including custom fire grates for each site. Deerlodge is the launch for the 4-day whitewater trip down the Yampa River and each fire ring will represent a different feature along the river. The grates are being beautifully crafted by Arnie Gray at Forge and Fix-It Shop in Vernal, Utah.

The campground upgrade is being funded through a grant from The Fund for People in Parks and Intermountain Natural History - INHA.
