A fun project from last week was this bar for a newly remodeled basement in Johnston!

Mini rolling barn doors and a shelf inside for lots of storage. The corrugated steel came from the Madrid lumberyard in the 1950’s and was on a local barn until a storm destroyed it in 2020. Always cool to reuse steel on new projects!

A little bit of everything lately!

Foot rail & handrails for the party barn mecca in Ankeny. Closet shelving & pantry shelving for a local client in Woodward. A bunch of trailer & grapple bucket repairs for a tree company. A large aluminum egress window cover powder coated in Urbandale. And a whole bunch of Aluminum weldments!

I finally was able to wrap up this heavy, burly, rustic, ranch-style pipe fence & entryway gate. The working conditions were well… really cold and windy. My fingertips may never recover. But we got lucky for a photo shoot with some sunshine so that’s nice. ☀️

This style of fence is designed to last decade after decade with zero maintenance and will likely be standing the day I retire, (a very, very long time from now).
