We're heading to Louisville!

Hiwassee Products will be exhibiting at the National Farm Machinery Show, February 10 to 13, 2027, at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

NFMS brings together the industry's most complete lineup of agricultural equipment, products, and services, and growers travel from around the world to get hands-on with the tools they'll rely on for the season ahead. We're proud to be part of it.

Our focus is simple: helping farmers put biology back to work in their soil. Stop by to see how continuous-flow compost extraction makes it practical to inoculate fields at scale with the full spectrum of bacteria, fungi, and protozoa, and to talk through how it could fit your operation.

Admission to the show and seminars is free. Plan your visit here: https://farmmachineryshow.org/visitors/plan-your-visit

Learning From the Field is one month away! 🗓️

On November 17, farmers, researchers, and ag professionals from across Southwestern Ontario will gather at Ivey Business School for a full day on biological inputs and building a more bioregional supply chain.

Here's a simple way to prep: take stock of where your current biological inputs come from. How far did they travel? How do you know what's alive in them when they reach your field?

The Organic Farming Conference 2026 is one month away! 📅

On November 12 and 13, Hiwassee Products joins 500+ farmers and vendors at the Mt Hope Event Center in Mt Hope, Ohio.

A quick soil thought to hold you over until then: compost extract and compost tea are not the same thing. Extract uses water to separate microbes from finished compost, so the balance of bacteria, fungi, and protozoa closely mirrors the compost itself. It stores for 2 to 3 weeks, and you can add microbial foods at application. That makes extract a great fit for inoculating your soil with the full spectrum of biology, without the time pressure of brewing compost tea. Dr. Jones explains this concept in depth in his blog post: https://www.hiwasseeproducts.com/blog/interview-with-dr-zack-jones

Want to see how that works at farm scale? Stop by, and we'll walk you through our X-Series extractors and talk through what fits your acreage.

Got a question you want answered at the show? Drop it in the comments, and we'll come ready.

One month from today, Hiwassee will be at Regenerative Nexus, held at Union Grove Vineyard in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, November 10 to 12.

This gathering is built for producers leading the push on regenerative agriculture, with three days to talk, teach, inspire, and encourage each other through the real challenges of doing this work. We're looking forward to being in that room.

If you haven't registered yet, now's a good time. We'd love to see you there and talk through what's working and what isn't on your operation.

This November, Regenerative Nexus comes to the Southeast for the first time, landing in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, November 10 to 12, 2026, at Union Grove Farm, home to the first certified regenerative vineyard in the United States. A Nexus is a point of connection, a place where separate paths me...

Mark your calendars, Southwestern Ontario! 🌱

On Tuesday, November 17, the Collective Action Program (CAP) for Regenerative Agriculture is hosting Learning From the Field, a full-day educational forum at Ivey Business School in London, Ontario. Hiwassee Products will be there.

The day brings farmers, researchers, and agricultural professionals together to dig into biological inputs and what a more bioregional agricultural supply chain could look like. That conversation is right in our wheelhouse. Biology produced on the farm, from local compost and local feedstocks, is about as bioregional as an input can get.

If you're curious about making your own compost extract, running a vermicomposting system, or actually seeing what's living in your soil under a microscope, come find us and talk shop.

One month to go! The MSCA 2026 Summit: Soil Inputs & Effects is exactly one month away, taking place November 5-6 at High Plains Outpost in Great Falls, Montana.

Simeon will be on stage sharing where soil practices have been, where they're going, and how to get there, real talk for anyone working through soil inputs and salinity challenges. Hosted by the Montana Salinity Control Association, this summit is shaping up to be a great one for producers, agronomists, and anyone curious about the science behind healthier soil.

Space is limited and filling up, so if you've been meaning to register, now's the time.

We're headed to Santa Fe! 🌵 Hiwassee Products will be at the REGENERATE Conference: Stewardship in Action, October 28 to 30 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and it's just four weeks away.

Hosted by the Quivira Coalition, Holistic Management International, and the American Grassfed Association, REGENERATE brings together ranchers, farmers, scientists, and land stewards working toward more resilient working lands. Workshops and roundtables cover soil health, regenerative ranching, conservation, and sustainable food systems.

That's our kind of crowd. Productive grazing starts underground, with the fungi, bacteria, and protozoa that cycle nutrients and build soil structure. Our compost extractors and hPACK mobile soil lab kits help producers put that biology to work and see what's happening in their soil.

Heading to Santa Fe? Let us know in the comments. We'd love to connect and talk soil biology, pasture health, and what's working on your operation.

We're heading to Mt Hope! 🌱

Hiwassee Products will be at the Organic Farming Conference 2026, November 12 and 13, at the Mt Hope Event Center in Mt Hope, Ohio.

This two-day gathering brings together 500+ organic-minded farmers, vendors, and speakers to share what's working on their farms. The lineup covers dairy profitability, maximizing yields, growing and marketing produce, and plenty of soil health and compost expertise. That last part is right in our wheelhouse.

Our team will be on hand to talk soil biology: how compost extract moves the full spectrum of bacteria, fungi, and protozoa from your compost into your soil, how VermiFlow continuous-flow vermicomposting can fit your operation, and how an hPACK mobile soil lab puts biology testing in your own hands.

Whether you run a dairy, a market garden, or anything in between, we'd love to hear about your soil and your goals.

Mark your calendar and register at organicfarmingconf.com. See you in Ohio! 👋
