Local activation of Farm Neighbors Care projects helps build connections, spread awareness and strengthen rural communities.

Lafayette County Farm Bureau put its $250 Farm Neighbors Care grant to work by matching the funds and contributing to the Farmer Angel Network of Southwest Wisconsin to help support a mental health wrap on the new Lafayette County Sheriff’s vehicle. The wrap helps bring mental health awareness and resources directly into the community and includes the Farm Neighbors Care resource sticker and QR code, making it easier for farmers and rural residents to find support when they need it. This activation is a great example of local partners working together to remind our farm neighbors that you don’t have to face tough times alone.

This project was supported through a Farm Neighbors Care grant made possible by the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation and McCade's Joyride.
