This product was CNC machined out of our M1006, a translucent white, UHMW (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene). The M1006 UHMW has an incredible operating temperature range of -256°C (-445°F) up to +80°C (+176°F). A groove was cut around the perimeter of the part to accommodate an O-Ring.

MFP Seals TPS seal utilizes a square profile to minimize gland space on the piston. Made for bidirectional sealing, the T1075 PTFE Ring offers low friction & the O-Ring expander creates an effective compression seal for light to medium duty hydraulic cylinders & actuators, with pressures up to 250 bar (3,625 psi) and a maximum reciprocating velocity of 4 m/s (13 ft./s).

MFP Seals’ TPS - Square Piston Seal is offered with Piston Rings made from our proprietary T1075 Glass Filled PTFE, T1125 Carbon-Graphite Filled PTFE or our T5100 Bronze Filled PTFE. The O-Ring Expander is available in N6001, a 70 Durometer NBR; V7100, a 75 Durometer FKM; and V7155, a 76 Durometer, Brown FKM.
