Work resumes this morning, with the team installing the 12-inch ductile iron waterline within the 24-inch encasement pipe previously bored. The contractor has secured spider clamps to the smaller pipe, ensuring a uniform annulus for the pipe-in-pipe configuration. Factory-restraint joints are used to maintain a proper seal and prevent pipe separation.

Today, an Environmental Training class was conducted; emphasizing Erosion & Sediment Control, Permits and Permit Plans, and NPDES Reports. This class resulted from a collaborative effort between the Roadside Environmental Unit, Project Development & Environmental Analysis, and the Assistant Area Construction Engineer.
