In 1938, Harry Ferguson (founder of Massey Ferguson ) showed Henry Ford a new invention in a field in Dearborn, Michigan, U.S. — the three-point hitch.

Ford shook his hand and said, "Let's do it." No contract. Just a handshake.

That handshake launched the Ford-Ferguson tractor. The three-point hitch is still the standard on virtually every tractor made today.

One handshake. One invention. An entire industry changed.
